        Companion Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital located in the Crossroads area of Bellevue, WA. We have been in business in this location since 1998, when Companion Animal Hospital merged with Crossroads Veterinary Clinic in a 10,000 square foot facility built just for our pet clinic. Our veterinarian practice strives to practice preventive medicine in order to minimize the risk factors associated with many diseases. We believe the annual, and sometimes biannual exams, can be of greater importance than annual pet vaccinations given without an exam. By practicing this premise, we are able to slow and possibly stop the progression of many different diseases. This approach to veterinary care allows your pet to live a longer, more comfortable life.         Overall

        I wanted to change my dogs' vet since I felt our previous vet was always trying to get us to spend more money there than necessary, BUT Dr. Dertinger was great! She spent time checking our dog, went over the vaccinations she thought we needed and were optional. She took her time to talk and didn't seemed rushed at all. I liked the front desk's service and of course, Dr. Dertinger!

        the best vets on the eastside 8591

        8591 I have been taking my cats to companion for at lease 25 years. They have been there for me through the good and the bad and helped a lot when I needed to let Smokey go. I now have a new kitten and I will be taking him to companion as long as I live in the area. Dr Ritchie and his staff are the greatest vets around. They are open every day and evenings and I have also used their boarding services and they have taken great care of my cats. I would not hesitate to recommend companion for all vet care, routine or emergency.

        I have been taking my pets for years. I have lost pets and have introduce new pets. They have been gentle with the passing of my pets doing the best they can to try to save them and being up front of whether they can or not save them. They have a great deal of experience which includes the office staff along with the doctors. If they do not know an answer they will tell you and consult another doctor who has more knowledge to help your pet. I like their 7 day a week office hours too!
