Avoid Brink at all cost
Don’t believe the nice smile before signing the contract. These are Lion teeth. They will not answer your calls unless it is beneficial to them. They will charge you for every simple thing like calling service to fix the house and off course at premium. . The staff is very rude. They arrogantly treat you like an ignorant who knows nothing…. Also, I doubt the truth of the reviewers saying “received excellent service”. When was poor vulgar attitude is excellent service.

Overall

I have moved several times and had many different landlords/property management companies. Brink impressed me right from the start. The office staff is very friendly and timely. They take care of maintenance request quickly and keep you in the loop. As always, read your lease carefully and ask questions.

Reporting to the Better Business Bureau for the way they have handled our move out and security deposit. We rented through Brink for 2 ½ years. My Fiancé and I just purchased a home and since our contract does not allow us to sublet we put in notice to terminate our lease. We gave them ample time and were corporative throughout the entire move out process. We paid April and May’s rent while they searched for a replacement. During that process the owner of the condo we were renting decided not to re-rent through Brink Property Management. When they found out they did not re-fund us the pro-rated portion of May’s rent and still charged us a “re-leasing” fee and said we owed them over $400 beyond the $1,100 security deposit we paid up front.

We asked them review our statement and they responded that it was fair and did not address any reason why they did not owe us back money for May’s rent.

As a new home owner I would never recommend this company. If you plan to rent your house I’m sure you would be better with another agency. If you are looking to rent through them beware.

Terrible service

My lesson is they retain my property for almost two month without any progress, and I finally pay ~$1000(half month rent) to terminate the service. Based on my recent experience with them, I definitely won't recommend them to any of my friend with the following reasons:



1) Even for a 20mins check up, they always set the appointments 7 days later;

2) After I fixed all issues they pointed out in initial check, they raised some new issues which could be fixed together with previous issues. All the extra work increased my time cost and real expense, also give me the feeling they did not seriously care their customers;

3) when check the property, they are very picky, even very minor issues, like small tint on carpet, they asked to fix. If you hire cleaning company by yourself, most likely they will ask to re-do cleaning. So the only option is to use cleaning company they recommend, and of course, the price is higher;

4) No professional strategy on the rental, after one & half month on the market, what they can do is to keep asking me to lower down the monthly rent even bellow the fair market price;



After retain my property for almost 2 months without any progress, I really get tired to work with them. I found tenant by myself with the same price they listed in ad, and I paid half month rent as termination fee to fire them even they did not help me anywhere & any place.



there are two things they did fairly well, those are the main reasons why I decided to use their service at the beginning:

1) they respond the email very quickly, even the real appointment is slow;

2) for every half a month they send ad click summary of your property to your email, like how many people click the advertisement link, how many inquire and how many check the property.



In short, they gave the professional impression at the beginning but their service is far from professional. I won't recommend them to any of my friend.

Brinks is the worst ever prope...

Brinks is the worst ever property management. They are extremely rude even when dealing with decent families renting decent expensive houses. They very slow in taking care of maintenance and never return your calls. They also use legal jargons to scare you. When you respond back with same legal language, they simply do not respond and ask you to get a lawyer. This actually causes more harm to the owners. When not extending the lease, they confiscate your deposit for lam excuses.

I advise all tenant, as well as landlords, to avoid using Brink by all means and fight their intimidation tactics

This is a TERRIBLE property ma...

This is a TERRIBLE property management company. We have had more issues renting from them than ANY other place I've ever rented from combined! If you could avoid having them as your property managers, DO AT ALL COSTS! Not only was the property turned over to us in awful condition, but they shrugged it off and stated that our concerns with the cleanliness of it were "noted". Some of the issues that they just "overlooked" when preparing to turn the place over to us consisted of a general foul odor, animal feces in the garage, urine-scented carpets, a water leak (that damaged some of our stuff), fixtures that didn't work, etc. I wouldn't recommend this company to manage our prison systems, much less our rental property.
