AR Towing

I cannot recommend AR Towing Services. We contacted them when our car would not start after we had stopped for fuel at a station in town. They were quite responsive in coming to our rescue. I explained that we needed a jump start, and possibly a tow if the jump was not successful.
They arrived, tried the jump using a “charger block” and were not able to get the car started. They said it “must not be the battery” so we initiated the tow to our local Acura dealer to deal with an apparent bigger problem. So far, no issues with the service. They explained on the front end what the charges would be for the jump service, and the following tow, if needed.
My problem is not with the initial service, but with the results at the dealership, and after. The dealer had no problem whatsoever with jumping the car and driving into the garage, and said the charger block used by the towing company must have been inadequate or not fully charged. When I followed up with the AR office, that I felt fully paying for the jumper service fee was unwarranted, since, if their equipment had been up to the task, I would neither have had to pay for the tow, and would also have been able to replace my battery more economically than at the dealership. They told me there was nothing they could do, thus, my lack of recommendation.
