Friendly staff. Great hosts for weekly events.
For 3 years complaints about parking structure repair and drive way potholes have gone unanswered. Frozen pipe flood this winter. Fire in unit on floor above...no explaination of cause. Storage area vandalized...no communication.
There hasn't been a single day with temperatures over 85 degrees that my A/C has worked yet this year. When my apartment read internal temps of 94 degrees, I called the office. They hung up on me. Then I went in and talked to the manager, she kindly told me it is their policy to work their normal hours and go home. 94 degrees with no A/C is not an emergency to them. Then it takes over a week to get it fixed. Then they don't actually fix it and the next really hot day, it is dead again. Rinse and repeat 4 times this year.
That isn't everything, that is just the one I am telling the story. I cannot stress enough how much you shouldn't live here.
Hello Kenneth and thank you for reaching out. We apologize for your A/C not working to it's full potential and for any misunderstandings that may have occurred with our team. We aim to provide a comfortable living space for all our residents, and we're sorry that you did not have experience this. If you could, please contact us at (734) 699-2800 so we may address your concern further. Thank you.
My rims and tires were stolen off my car. Then later my car was keyed. The management does not car about this issue. They have not returned any of my calls or emails. I have lived in Harbour Club for 3 years with no issue. Just recently place has started to come down. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!
To begin with, the first thing that set me off with this apartment is the HIGH electric bills (that were not even mentioned by the staff) that were ranging $260+ each month and sometimes higher. Next, management will be as slow as possible to respond to any need you have and, the maintenance people were pretty good overall. There were a planet of bugs that were crawling as soon as spring hit in the apartment. In the winter time none of the complexes were plowed for about 2 weeks, I had to help push people out of the snow. With the outrageous electric bill plus the monthly apartment bill it's not worth it for these apartments in the shape they're in (not to mention their old age), please look at the reviews before moving in!!! It was definitely a big mistake we made and still regret. Hope this helped someone:)
honestly, im not one who works in the office. i moved from lakeshore apartments on grove and rawsonville into harbour club a month ago now. we love it. everything in my apt is new. barely any issues. my building is quiet. theres so many ways to win rent credit... office staff is nice.. i dont understand why there are so many negative reviews..

I have lived here for 3 years and maintenance is a joke! It take 7 to 10 business days for anything to get fixed if they even fix it. Over two months ago, some idiots stole the central air conditioning units from the outside of our apartments. They have yet to replace them, even though I have been their ""top priority"" this whole time. They always have an excuse as to why things haven't gotten done. It was over 100 degrees in my apartment today. It is totally unacceptable. Do not move here!

I moved in a couple months ago and this place is not good. First, the customer service is bad; no one ever calls you back. Maintenance took 2 WEEKS to fix my toilet that stopped working. They told me I can use my roommate?s bathroom because it?s not a priority. Apparently, a toilet is not a priority to the staff. Also, I signed up for a 4 month lease and they wrote me a lease for 5 months. They stated the change was in the lease I signed, but when I asked for them to show me, they claimed is was more of an ?implied? change and it wasn?t actually in the lease. I have never had problems in any apartment complex until I moved here. Will be glad to leave! Stay away from here.

I moved into this complex not even 2 weeks ago and am already moving out! I read all the reviews about this complex and thought it sounded great given the price, looks, location, size, amenities, etc. It was a LIE! The complex writes their own reviews!
Let's start with moving in. I got to the complex to sign my lease (after calling 2x that week to VERIFY THE DAY I WAS MOVING IN), and was told that there was no lease ready for me to sign. They didn't know I was even moving in! I waited on a lease to be written up (which had to be altered because half the information was wrong) and then they didn't even bother to go over it with me! Noone took it upon themselves to make sure I understood what the hell I was signing!
I finally got the keys to the apartment, got in, and the place was FILTHY! There was hair all in the bathrooms, trash still in the cabinets, the floors hadn't been vacuumed, the windows were filthy, EVERYTHING! I had to get on my hands and knees and SCRUB the bathroom floor with a toothbrush and bleach to see that the tile was white! The grout is impossible to get back white! It looks horrible! And half of the tile has come up and they stuck it back in caulk, not grout. Half of them are coming back up again. The paint job was so bad that the tubs are covered in paint, the mirrors are covered, there is paint all in the carpet, just horrendous! They did not bother moving the washer/dryer or stove to paint behind it. The refrigerator had mold growing in it. When we wiped out the cabinets they were black. The dishwasher was not even fastened into the kitchen and I can STILL (after maintainance took 4 days to *FIX* it) pull it out from under the counter! The ceiling in the master bedroom leaks. The wood in the cabinet under the sink is rotten. The sliding patio doors do not close all the way. The wood on the deck is rotten.
I've saved the best for last...other tenants! Within the first 12 hours of moving in, I had to call the police on the neighbors for using drugs! I mean the whole building smelt of pot! I'm allergic to it and get an instant migraine within moments of smelling it! They were issued a citation. I called the complex to tell them what was going on and they said it was not their problem! SERIOUSLY! Even though in the lease it states that first time offense is automatic termination! WHAT A LIE! And the behavior continues, EVERY DAY! I am tired of calling the cops! Oh, top that off with the kids! There are all these teenagers in heat running around all hours of the day and night! People just want to loiter around in the parking lot, listen to music really loud in their cars, prop open the LOCKING hallway door, and tromp in and out! It is not even CLOSE to being quiet here! And I was told this is one of the QUIETEST BUILDINGS IN THE COMPLEX! WHAT A JOKE! Also, the day I moved in, a lady down the hall had her car broken into. Another lady down the hall was moving out the day after I moved in, and she told me I made a mistake and that the Bronx in New York are more safe than this place. I AGREE! Since I have moved in, I have purchased a gun that I keep by my bed! That's how grrrrreat the area is! And best part, I still don't sleep at night because I have these two HUGE PATIO DOORS THAT DON'T LOCK! I'm told ""oh, well you live on the top floor, that shouldn't be an issue"" when I've heard from the police department that there are break-ins to the storage units off the balconies all the time!
I have filed complaint after complaint after complaint to the complex. I have asked numerous times to speak with the manager and I only ever get second best, the assistant manager. I keep being told ""oh, we'll call you back"" and it NEVER HAPPENS! And that's IF you can find someone in their office! Oh, and emailing them is a JOKE too!

The new management are money grubbers, raising rent every time you renew when they where Harbour Club they would keep it reasonable and give residents free golf and rent credits when you renew but not Providence. I moved to a two bedroom in 2009 after meeting my Wife and have had multiple problems with the management, maintenance, and poor construction of the complex. We had our roof encounter a water leak through the exhaust fan in the kitchen. We called about that and nobody showed until a month later they poorly and temporarily fixed the problem only to have it start leaking again a couple months later. When we moved in they said there was a laundry room in the basement, there is not, in fact its just a room with mold and mildew and graffiti on the walls. And the washer in dryer in our apartment is so small you can only wash maybe two outfits at a time, and you have to run the dryer forever to get anything dry. We have a mold problem due to an air leak on the outer part of the building from a construction defect. I calmly called the office and made them aware of the problem and was told maintenance would be over within a couple days. Then a week had passed I called back again still calm mind you and they apologized and said they would send someone right away. Two more days passed and I called again by this point my Wife and 9 month old daughter were developing nose and throat problems due to the mold, so I was starting to get ticked off I was told someone would come that day. Nobody showed. So the next day I stormed in the office with pictures of the mold and had to yell at them to get anything done about it, they had maintenance come right over and remove the mold. They still have not fixed the air leak outside due to a gap between the wall and upper part of the roof so mold continues to develop. The windows and door walls are extremely outdated and drafty the metal framing develops mold due to the condensation. The radiant heat in the ceilings is horrible it makes your electric bill ridiculous. The hallways constantly smell like the hash bash is going on you get a contact buzz just getting to your unit, and if you read the other reviews on (apartment ratings) website you will see that a lot of people have had the weed smell in there buildings along with suspicion of drug dealing going on which wouldn't surprise me the least with the low lives who live around here as well as the same problems I've encountered. We called about the weed smell and nothing was ever done about it they just don't seem to care who lives here as long as you pay them with the money you earn dealing drugs it's apparently okay. The number of car thefts around here is crazy as well as the amount of storage room thefts, they take bolt cutters to your lock and pillage everything in your storage cage, I was smart enough not to leave anything valuable in there but my dining table was stolen along with a 12"" sub woofer that didn't work. We've also had a lot of minor problems to many to mention and all we're NOT taken care of promptly and all taken care of poorly only to have the problem arise again. I strongly recommend you look elsewhere my Wife and I are moving out this summer to a house. The rent is too much and the apartment is extremely outdated from the old ugly wood cabinets, to the nasty broken tiles, the ugly old school wood doors and poorly painted rooms with cracks in the drywall and paint chipping all over to the hillbilly rigged plumbing. I can't stress enough how much these apartments suck! Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live, the people who post good reviews are probably drug dealing crack addicts who love living here cause nothing is ever done about them smoking drugs and breaking into the vehicles in the parking lot.
