So I took my burden to Still Waters Marine in May of 2018 and I got it back and it didn't run flywheel nut was late left loose and shared the flywheel key off. Took it back to Still Waters, and they seem to fix the problem with the flywheel key that my Motors never run right since. It wouldn't I don't and it was hard to start. So I just gave up and sold the boat and got rid of my troubles and someone else. Would not recommend this place for repair you both.

Service starts out great but the longer you do business there the more you'll be taken advantage of. The last dealings I had with them was repairing the live well systems, mainly replacing pumps. On the first trip after their "repairs" the live wells filled the hull to the point of technical sinking 13 miles offshore. For some reason the automatic bilge was no longer working after the live well work and it cost me a Honda motor with only 35 hrs. I took the boat back and was told they would find a deal on a replacement motor. Boat was there for over a year waiting on a motor which I never received

Caution do not use this company buyer beware this guy is a crook!!!! Sam at Stillwater's took me for over $2,000 and never fixed what they f***** up I have took a couple different boats to Still Waters Marina the first time was several years ago it was my father's boat that I inherited I had him put a starter on a 25 horse Evinrude and rebuilt the carburetor it took over I received the boat back and ran horrible the starter practically fell off I took it back to him and he gave me nothing but troubles and excuses after that the boat has never ran right left their disappointed and with a a boat that did not work any better than when I brought it to him. years later I am talking to my friend Bill he suggested did I go too Still Waters Marina he knows Sam and he has known him for many many years 30 or plus years he says to me let's take your boat down there and he'll take care of it he did he did a great job so about a year later I bring my boat back down to him to have him do several things to it such as change the impeller put docking lights on rewire my anchor light on my Bimini top put a new water separator on tighten my steering wheel fix my shifting lever because it was shifting in and out of gear very hard long story short I made a list of all the things that I wanted him to do so that there would be no question or no misunderstanding he calls me 2 weeks later says the boat is completely finished so I picked the boat up take it to the water and it is not circulating water properly plus the steering wheel is still loose and wobbling the shift cables are still tight and bound the lights when I turn on my docking lights Knox all the power out of the boat and shuts everything off so I call Sam the next I take the boat to him wait another couple weeks he calls me and says everything is finished good to go another $1,200 is what he charges me he says the reason why the lights knock everything out is because the wires are not heavy enough for the lights they installed on the boat number one they were supposed to be LED lights not halogen so they ran new wire which they should have did the very first time and charge me for it plus the steering was still wobbling and the shift cable did not work he said that they were fine I took the cap off myself and fixed it right in front of him all she had to do is take the cap off Tighten Up the Jam nut on the steering wheel and problem solved he said that it was the poppet valve is the reason why it was not circulating water through the motor this is a lie they put the impeller in incorrectly or something like that it was not a simple fixed as it took another week to get my boat back plus I had put brand new stainless steel hose clamps on my gas lines from the motor to the water separator filter to the gas tank they took off my stainless steel hose clamps kept them threw them away do not know but replace them with zip ties can you believe it ties I have stains all over The Well of my boat from gas dripping to top it all off none of these things were ever corrected or fixed and Sam never apologize one time after talking to him more than two times about this the last thing was 2 weeks ago after I had paid him last summer at the end of this summer to do all this work plus rewire my boat trailer complete from front to rear with no spices in it to top it off I went to hook up my lights on my boat trailer and Wallah no lights the reason being is the idiot that rewired the boat trailer put numerous places in the line and then made the ground connection only four inches long so everytime you turn the corner you lose your ground connection I called and left a message with Sam that I was very very upset and what was going on never returned phone call never an apology never a refund for all the horrible work that he has done the my experience with Sam is when you walk in the door he is not very happy to see you he is grumpy and he's always got an excuse why it takes so long to do things I have also

Sam is wonderful! Takes care of the problem, has fair pricing and charges me what he says he's going to charge me (unlike some other boat repair places in town). I get my boat back in a timely manner and he and his mechanics take to the time to show me how to care for my boat. Wonderful people! Shon

highly recommended... I went there with to get a part and because I had my boat with me at the time they looked over the issue I was having and talked me out of the part that I thought I needed. They troubleshooted my engine, made minor adjustments, and most importantly educated me. All this was done in a few minutes. These guys know what they are doing. I will most certainly be a repeat customer.

This is a great place to deal with for all of your boating needs. Great with helping you find solutions to any problems you may be having with your boat/motor. Will get you the parts you need quickly if they are not already in stock. Very helpful and personable. Great deals on boats, motors and parts. Sam will even keep his eyes & ears opened for what you're looking for if he does not have it himself. Very fair in prices for motors, boats, repairs & parts along with excellent, "hometown", service.
