        Above and Beyond Animal Care was established in 2009 by Dr. Jen Powers Maples. After working in the Redding area for 14 years, Dr. Jen decided to create her own clinic to provide family orientated healthcare to companion animals, including horses, dogs, cats, and camelids. The clinic is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, small animal surgical and dental suites, equine dental stocks, equine lameness evaluation equipment and areas, hospitalization, and ICU facilities for small and equine patients.

        After years of experience with vets as we raised our kids with all their pets, I am so happy to have found Above and Beyond Animal Care, Dr. Chavon Pryor and Dr. Jen Powers. Their true concern and love for the animals is evident, they give excellent service, and they are so realistic about practical care and real life. I couldn't be more pleased with them. Becky V.

        Amazingly advanced, CARING veterinarian and staff. Highly reccomend!!!!! Five stars for the incredible Doc Jen and all the love she showers on the animals and their humans. Three cheers for Above And Beyond!!!!!!!!!!!
