Needing a hair cut while my usual girl was on vacation, I decided to try Great Clips at the last minute. The stylist did a great job, paying close attention to what I said and carefully explaining my options and some of the different techniques. She didn't rush at all, and it was late Saturday aftetnoon. The staff was professional and friendly, and I got a great haircut at a good price.
"Felt Like a Number, Not a Customer"I was very excited to see Great Clips in the area, I felt it would give Walmart some competition for a change on the working class who didn't have time to schedule appts & like to do walkin appts. However, after less than 5 min haircut, and the hairdresser being more interested in what was going on at around her than dealing with taking care of what was in front of her......."I FELT MORE LIKE A NUMBER INSTEAD OF A COSTUMER"...... Even my husband, who went next door to JJ's for a beer, was shocked at how fast I was done! I really felt that I wasn't listened too on how I liked my hair, in fact, I was informed "We don't layer hair in numbers" after I was finished & I asked if she wasn't going to layer my hair in the long layers that I asked her too when I was asked how I liked it after I first sat down....Perhaps I should have said "That's how I expected it to be cut!" cause now I have short hair, very full, and unruly due to NO long layers!! "Looks like Walmart is the true 1 stop shop & not so bad after all!" I gave them a 1 star due to the location & the women can drop their men off at the bar for a beer while they get their hair done...."ONLY IF" your feeling daring enough to try & get a good hairstylist, they're not all the same, just steer clear of them if they are more interested in whats going on everywhere else!!
