My experience started with fresh warm bread with garlic. AMAZING!!!! Oh, and it's on the house all the time.
Being that it was lunch time, all the plates come with either the soup of the day or a house salad.
I ordered the Eggplant Panini and asked for the salad.
My mother ordered the Tina Tequila Chicken and asked for the soup of the day.
The house salad is BIG. It came with a creamy balsamic vinaigrette dressing which was so so good. I would expect for it to be sold with how good it was. My mother's soup of the day was tomato basil soup. She loved it. I am not that big of a fan of tomatoes but I did like it.
The Eggplant Panini was the best I have ever had.
The Tina Tequila Chicken was incredible! The cream sauce and cilantro pesto went so perfect! The veggies were perfect!
The portions were very very Large. We did not finish our food.
And check this out....Our bill was less than $20 including tax! Where in the world can you get a top quality lunch with soup, salad, garlic bread, a large entree for $10 a person????? I don't know many places.
I know just about every Mexican restaurant on Atlantic Ave and even at those places you can't get good quality food for the price I paid at Epoca.
I LOVE YOU EPOCA!
I hope people find out about you because you deserve success!
Saw a spinning sign that read "Now Open" outside of the red bricked building. Luckily for me, I was going to have lunch next door.
So I figured I would at least take a look and see what this place had to offer. After all, they did have a logo with the Registered symbol on it. You don't find many of those in the area.
To make a long story short, I had a Baked Balsamic Chicken Salad and it was the best lunch salad that I have ever had in my life. I took some back to the office because it was too big.
Their house bread was delich!
This little place is what dreams are made off.

My boyfriend I went to a friends birthday dinner there. On the outside you would never know this place would be so nice. For starters, it's in Bell. There are more Mexican restaurants on on Atlantic than probably on the entire westside.
The place is great. Nice lighting, sound, decor and food. I had a pasta dish that was A M A Z I N G ! After dinner they opened the back part of the restaurant that once again had amazing decor and lighting. We had an amazing time and the prices were good!
The owners were super sweet and even played a movie for us on the tv's. It must have been the longest dinner of my life but I loved ie. I will return.

I hosted an event for a non profit I volunteer for and it was a major success. The night started off slow but those that showed up loved the restaurant so much that before I knew it, it was filled with guests that had not confirmed attendance. The place is beautiful and truely unexpected from within.
Once in a while you find a business that doesn't really fit with all of the businesses around it. Epoca is a very cool hole in the wall. I had a great meal there but had an even better time talking with friends over drinks. It was calm but the crowd was good. The people there all looked professional. The waitress told me that they aren't haveing a grand opening for a while but if you can go when they are open, it's a good time.
