Horrible business practices! The tech outright refused to file my nails shorter after I told her they were too long and the tops bumpy from her not fileing the acrylic. The manager demanded I pay for the service before she fix them to which when I said ill go elsewhere to get them fixed he locked the door. I kept saying I have no problem paying before they are painted but only after they are filed and fixed. It took me threatening to call the police for him to sit me back down and horribly file them and paint them. Then they tried to bill me $35 for a gel filling when I had only gotten acrylic fill in. We argued about that too before the "manager" billed me the $22 the sign said and i left. The photo shows my receipt proof and the still bumpy crappy acrylic.
Very friendly and best service in town My friends came here got pedicure and nails done . The polish stayed last longer than any where else. Another good news is that they just upgraded New pedicure chairs and pedicure Liners, so Free bacteria , very cleaneast . I love it.
This is the least thorough manicure I have ever had. Today was my first visit to this nail salon and the only other salon that I have had a bad experience in is their sister salon, also in the Harford Mall. I felt like the manicurist rushed through the little she did do. I am dissatisfied with the end result. This was my first and last experience with this salon.
I love going to this nail salon. Danny does a WONDERFUL job on my nails, and does them EXACTLY how I ask/want. I've been there a few times & have not left there unhappy. They ALWAYS make sure you're happy with your nails, BEFORE you leave. They're even VERY nice to your children, little siblings, kids you babysit, etc. if you bring them in to get their nails painted. It's GORGEOUS inside, and EVERY staff member is very friendly, and they actually have a conversation with you, unlike MOST nail places, they sit there in silence or talking to other nail techs in their language. What's even better? They're open for a little while on Sundays, which is PERFECT for me, cause sometimes o can't make it there on Saturdays or during the week. I'm definitely going to be a long-term customer. Thank you, Lavish Nails, and Danny! !
Pleasant, professional, reasonable rates... Did not wait at all for service! It had been years since I had my nails professionally done and about 3 weeks decided to have them done and was so disappointed in where I went - I decided to check out Classy Nails and am so happy I did! What a difference when you know what you are doing! Thank you!
I have to been to several nail salons in the area and I LOVE lavish. Everyone is so nice, welcoming and have conversations with you. They do a awesome job and are very personable. I drive out of my way just to go here. I love Danny and Lenny ! -Kaitlyn Hodges
For the overall salon; it is clean & well kept. This of course is very important. As for the quality of end results for a manicure & pedicure; it is always a personal experience with whomever did your nails. I go to Vicky and she is a perfectionist, extremely talented with the art of designs. She is always friendly and I literally would never go to anyone else to do my nails. My granddaughter will not let anyone else do her nails either. I'm not saying any others do poor work; especially since I have not had anyone else there do my nails... I'm just saying that when it comes to your nails, your hair or your make up; it's your experience and result from a particular person & not any actual place. While I'm at it LOL... Becky G at Massage Envy, in Bel Air, if you need a real good deep tissue massage. Kelly Smith at Massage Envy, in Bel Air, if you want a great facial and she also does excellent make up. Lauren from Regis, in Bel Air, is the gal to do your hair. I realized that people comment when it's a negative experience, myself guilty as well, but I might as well let ladies out there know the wonderful finds I have found.
Dont offer services if you do not know how to properly apply what you offer & stay within a reasonable time for appointment. I made an appt for 10AM for a pedi followed by pink and white gel FILL with Danny. Although the pedi was on time, I waited 45 minutes after the pedi for my nails. When i initially checked on price Danny told me $45 for p/w. I showed him how I have had it done (in NJ) and he said he can do it the same. Not only did he make my nails too narrow and uneven, but started to apply polish on white when I specifically asked about the white in the jar- which then made my nails $55 (for FILLS not a "full set") after he did not want to do it like that b/c he "had no time" (mind you by then people were in for pedi's). After applying MORE gel more drilling the white came out uneven; some white more like a line, others curved- horrible. In total $83 resulting in me now needing to go elsewhere to fix this with only gel color. I get p/w gel (UV gel) is not that popular in this area but dont say you can provide a service and perform it to the way I keep my nails if you cannot. Will not go back- and it was GROSS that the previous clients nail cuttings were still on the table not cleaned up.
Have been going to classy nails for years. Today when I went in I sat there for 1/2hour and no one put any water in my bath and they were busy so I thought they would get around to it. After sitting there for 1/2 hour another lady came in with some one else and they were taken back to a chair with water. I was mad and walked out but did call later to complaint to the manageR and told her everything. She said she thought I was waiting for another customer. Really after I signed in and she told me to take a seat. I thought her I was so upset. That I felt like not coming back and her reply. Ok bye
Did a great job, very pleased!
