I had an emergency last year where my kitten ran under my recliner when my wife rocked down. She had a head injury so we rushed her to Dr. Harts. They told us their was nothing they could do but put her down. After a while of crying with my wife in the waiting room we signed the papers allowing them to do so. Then my wife wanted to be with her while they put her to sleep. The girl ran to the back and then came back a few seconds later and said that she could be saved but it would cost $800 just for her to stay the night. So why did they lie to us and let us think that we had to kill our own cat? They said that they knew we wouldn't have enough money to pay so we could sign her over to them and they would save her and find her a new home.....but we can't adopt her. So If you want lied to. Or to have to choose to let your animal live and never see it again or let it die then this is your place. I would not recommend Dr Harts a.k.a. Dr Death to anybody.

It was so nice to arrive and see many fully qualified staff members. I've gone to some places that were very understaffed and I've never had a good experience. This place had a great staff though, and I'll definitely be going back. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is good. Although this is an ""emergency"" vet, they do not rush through the care or belittle any of your concerns. It is a great after-hours service.
Dr. Hart has a heart of gold. If anyone really took the time to see what she really does then they would understand. She takes in so many cats and dogs that are unwanted by their owners. She cares for them, feeds them, gives them medical attention if needed and pays to have helpers come in and walk them on a daily basis and to get all their other needs met. She uses her own money to take care or all these animals!!!!

went to Dr. Hart's Emergency pet clinic with my dog- he was bleeding from me trimming his nails. There is another pet clinic across the street and I was waiting there for almost an hour and a half. Finally saw Dr. Hart's and was seen within 5 minutes of signing in. Found out my dogs paw only needed to be cleaned up and she only charged the $65 exam fee for everything.
Never had a problem at Dr. Hart's. After my dog was misdiagnosed by our regular vet I went to Dr. Hart's that weekend and I have been taking my Labrador to Dr. Hart for 3 years now. He was finally properly diagnosed by Dr. Hart with vestibular disease and he needs treatments constantly. At Dr. Hart's I am always treated with respect. The staff is always excited to see me and my dog. Her prices are the best around and I'd recommend going there to anyone.
My dog was hit by a car at night and I was terrified, my regular doctor was not open and my baby was suffering, after taking her to this clinic the staff responded immediately, they took care of my pet and were helpful every time I called, she's all better now and will get to grow up with my daughter, if only every other veterinarian I ever met was as good as her, the world would be a better place, my thanks forever
