Went with a friend on Fri. 12/29/17 to Premiere Theater behind Arbys to see 'The Greatest Showman'. Upon entering, we were told that the first half hour or so the sound would not be good. It was because the production company had rushed the movie to get it out on time...therefore, there was a glitch in the sound. They had checked with other area theaters and they were having the same problem. We went ahead...the sound was bad the first half hour....and the rest of the entire movie...however, the theatrics and storyline was so good, we ended up staying. Even commented to the theater personnel upon leaving, that it was the best movie we had seen in a long time...even though we couldn't understand most of what was being said. It was like watching a foreign film....with no captions. So on NYE, with nothing special to do, we decided to go to Regal and see for ourselves how the sound was. Funny thing, they knew nothing of a bad sound track from the company...We sat through it again...and it was wonderful. We even learned some of the characters names and what they were saying. Imagine that...this old lady was duped. Had a great storyline that went well with the singing and dancing and theatrics. We left thoroughly being entertained....and we weren't lied to. Premiere should have just said they were having trouble with the sound and we would have seen something else...at this time, I am not sure I will go to Bedford Premiere again....may just make a trip to Bloomington. I am not blaming any of the kids that work there, they were telling what they had been told to say....Shame on you..for not being honest with your patrons.
