Party King

I plan a lot of nonprofit events and Party King is always more than willing to donate items. It’s great to know that a local company likes to contribute to their community. Always on time and great quality of equipment. Thank you for your service.

Thanks to Party King for the absolute best service and equipment for our wedding. Everyone there was always sweet as pie and always on point. Even made a few recommendations that we never thought of which made this wedding a joy to plan. I dealt with a few vendors for our wedding and they were the most professional. Party King made my dream wedding come true!

BEWARE! We paid for a tent, 3 tables and 30 chairs in April for a June 29th memorial service. We were told the tent would be delivered the evening before since the memorial service would begin at 11:00am. Party King did not show up the evening before. Katie stated that she had failed to make a notation on the invoice although we confirmed this several times in the months prior. They then promised to have the tent up by 8:00am on the day of the memorial. The guys showed up without the poles and had to return to Beckley to retrieve them. Final set up was at 9:40am. The tent was mildewed, the chairs were rusted and the tables had rotten wood. Rented tablecloths had tears. The tent was to be picked up the next day. It was finally picked up two days later at 8:30pm. Horrible management, horrible rentals.

We rented a tent for my wedding in June. A 20x40 tent. We (my mother and I) signed a contract to pay X amount of money for the tent. When we make our second and last payment they charged us $30 extra that was NOT on the SIGNED contract. When they looked it up, the contract they had calculated the extra $30. They CHANGED a SIGNED contract. They refused to give us the money back for the 30 that was not on our contract. As it gets closer to the wedding they show up A WEEK EARLY because they didn't even pay attention to the right date. Day before the wedding they show up to set it up. It looked a bit small so we asked the men the size. They said 20x40. On the wedding day morning my planner came and measured the tent. 20x30. They did actually give us a little bit of money back on that. However, the tent had many holes, one that was huge. So if you need a tent, you could probably buy one somewhere that is much cheaper and nicer. Some of the worst service I have ever experienced.
