i went to lowe's garage door had them to install year latter the door would not open, called local door company to come repair it they said the door was to big to use 2=4 lumber that they used to install he said it should of been mental to install door very poor install so i called lowe's said installer would call me that never happen still waiting phone calls to lowe's does no good installer never called after many more calls still no calls they use fly by night installers so sad i am disable in poor health
Horrible tile install job, kept putting off starting since February then did work in April and it's mid June now and still haven't completed!!
Tiles were cut bad leaving chipped edges, were installed crooked(unlevel and not plumb)! Extremely overpriced and terrible service, no one can answer anything but "someone" will get back with you!

Lowes has always been one of my favorite places to shop as I almost always have some sort of home improvement project in progress.
My water heater started leaking around the water lines and Lowes is always my first stop to price compare and get advice. They have a sign posted beside the water heaters that states they qualify for ""emergency installation and if purchased before noon they will be installed the same day"". YEAH!!!!!! Look no further - I purchased on the spot at 11 a.m. and was assured I would get a call to set up the time for that afternoon. I then rushed home to tear the shelves out of the pantry so easy access could be made to change out the tanks. Then I waited................
Three hours later I still hadn't heard from anyone so I called the store to check and was then, after multiple phone calls and smoke blowing up my #*& was told didn't know if anyone was gonna be available to do it today. Then what is the purpose of advertising the emergency installation process - well to get your business of coarse. Just another example of telling me what I want to hear instead of just telling the truth. If I had been told up front couldn't be done same day I would have dealt with it. I certainly wouldn't have wasted a day waiting at home and I wouldn't have dismantled my pantry.
My advice to Lowes - take the sign down and don't make promises you can't keep. I ended up calling a plumber myself and purchasing elsewhere.
