Overall
Nice furniture, poor customer service

We recently bought some furniture from Dania, and we love it. It was spendy, but we were willing to pay a little more to get what we wanted.

Our experience with Dania is that the customer service level doesn't match with the price level of the furniture. To make a long story short, we knew that it would take several weeks for the furniture to arrive. When the delivery date came and went, we started calling the store. Depending on who answered the phone, we'd get different answers to our question of when to expect the furniture. Finally, when two of the four pieces arrived, we arranged to have them delivered by Dania for their $75 delivery fee. Happily, the delivery showed up with three pieces, but it would have been nice to know that the third piece was coming. A week or so later, the fourth piece arrived, but they wanted another $75 delivery fee to bring that over. They were entitled to charge us the additional delivery fee, but it bothered me that there was no attempt by the store to throw that in for free to compensate for the lateness of the order. When I asked about it, the person on the phone got defensive, and started quoting their policies to me. I understand that they were entitled to do what they did, but it just wasn't good customer service for a several thousand dollar purchase. I didn't bring this up to their manager, because by then I was tired of the hassle.

I won't buy anything there again unless it's the only place in town that has what I want.
