NOTHING SPECIAL AND NOT WORTH THE ABUSE OF THE MANAGER ON SHIFT. Ok food if you want to wait behind employees having their food cooked when no one is behind you in line. Don't try to talk to the manager about your experience because it will be down hill. You pay for an experience and food, not to be berated by their manager and wait behind employees. Being refused the ability to talk to the owners as well as being told by the manager you are un-American and there is nothing in the Constitution preventing employees from being served first all because you have normal expectations of being treated like a paying customer is not worth the price. I am far from not an American and speak fluent English. We will see what form of resolution I am provided. On a good note, the waiter I had was a very decent human being.

The $7.95 lunch fare is good. Small bowls are provided and the frozen, rolled meat steers folks to end up with little meat and many noodles/vegetables (not worth the $12 for dinner). Second rounds are made daunting when the grill line stretches back to the bathroom. This Chang's would be wise to:
1) add a second buffet line and/or grill station; and/or
2) be less blatant in using small bowls and frozen rolls/sheets of meat to swindle customers out of $12;
3) provide recipe guidance for customers on creating a bowl;
4) try to add something authentic (perhaps Genghis Khan beer); and
5) improve service somewhat
Will be back if they improve.
While the food is good, the cleanliness of the place and the workers is not. Staff does not wash their hands after dipping their rag in the bleach bucket and cleaning tables. Turn around and handle your food/drinks/cups with dirty hands. Carpet extremely old/dirty looking and needs to be replaced. From what I could see of the Kitchen, filthy as well. Unfortunate because the food is good. I have been there more than a dozen times and each time it gets worse and worse with the sanitation process or lack their of. No longer going there after last visit. Disgusting!

I have eaten at changes for a few years now. The service is never great but I always considered a cheap healthy alternative to the local restaurants. That all changed on Saturday when I found a long curly black hair in my food. I pointed it out to the waitress who said she let management know and they would have to decide how to handle it. Their way of handling it was to say ""Sorry"". That was it, the mean wasn't comped. I wasn't offered a anything but a single word, ""Sorry"". This was my last time eating at this establishment.

My husband and I stopped in here because we have driven by it several times and the parking lot is always packed. It was dinner time on a Friday night, we waited for a table for about 15-20 minutes, then were shown our table and the hostess left. No explanation of whether we were supposed to go get food or wait for her to come back and order drinks, so we sat there a while feeling really stupid, and then decided to go through the food/buffet line, which we then saw children sticking there hands in the food to put it on there plate, instead of the parents using the tongs or spoons. It was disgusting. We also noticed the buffet area was sticky and dirty, and the entire restaurant was dirty and old. Our chairs were sticky. The carpet/floor was filthy. We left without eating and will never go back. They only had 2 people working up front, somebody should supervise the food part & clean the place. GROSS!

Myself and several of my coworkers go to the grill on Cornell Rd. a lot and it is just a terrific place to get lunch. My favorite part is that you can control what is added to your food, or not added. They dont use any grease or oil to cook your food. The vegitables are always high quality and everything is always fresh. They have friendly and polite service wich is hard to find at a busy lunch spot these days. what seperates the grill on Cornell from other grills is that I feel they take more time to clean the grill between customers. I have been to other mongolian grills (milwaukie) and i noticed occasionally you might get some burnt particles from the previous customers dish, but in the 30+ times visiting the grill on Cornell it has never happened to me there. The only con I have to report is that if you arrive at normal lunch time (12-12:30) then there can be a long line most of the time (which is to be expected). we try to arrive between 11am and 11:30 when there is no line at all and we can get in and out in a resonable amount of time. This is my first review ever, i generally dont do this but when I was looking here for store hours I read a negative review on this place and thought ""sorry for your experience"" but I have been there 30+ times and always had a very pleasant experience and a very good meal as well.

Ok, have to say this is the Changs off corrnell I went to-pretty sure this is the one.
I've been to other Changs before and LOVED it. Loved the little wraps, and the sauce. Yummy yummy yummy. HOWEVER-I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN. Went to the one off Cornell for the 1st time, and after dishing up and having it cooked, went back to my table and found a good size peice of MEDAL in my food! Not only that, but I thought the way they hadled it wasn't so great. When I asked for the manager he didn't seen that concerned or sorry. And he cheaply comped my meal only, not my table's (only 1 other person) or my drink.
