If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
My friend and I made a reservation for this hotel through Hotels.com for one night, because we were in town for a concert. We showed up at the hotel 2.5 hours prior to the concert to check-in for our reservation and the EXTREMELY rude receptionist tells us "just because you have a reservation does not guarantee you a room." She proceeded to assist 1 of the 5 other patrons waiting in the very tiny lobby to "check-in." After 45 minutes of assisting a man without a reservation AND giving him a room even though the hotel was "overbooked due to 3rd party sites" ... She then goes in the back for 5 minutes, then comes out to deal with the next guest in line. She tells those two people that they also do not have a room even though they have a reservation because the hotel is now full. They were obviously upset and frustrated.
My friend and I then asked her numerous times if she could at least check on our reservation to make sure they had received it and see if a room was being held. Well it turns out, throughout the day, if 2 names were assigned to a room, she would call out the other name and if they did not answer, she would give away that room to the other party.
Again, we asked her to check on our room and she VERY rudely tells me "LISTEN STOP ASKING ME QUESTIONS OR GET OUT OF MY LOBBY." Extremely rude, unprofessional, & didn't care in the least that not only was our credit card charged for a room we did not have, but we were also going to be late to the concert we were in town for and had no place to stay afterwards.
She then threatens to call the cops on us for "being rude to her." At this point, we decide to leave and look at the hotel next door (who happened to have ONE room available due to a cancellation 15 minutes prior).
Awful customer service and absolutely no professionalism.
