Scooter's Lawnmower

Ordered a drive shaft for my SCAG MOWER. Went in on Monday and Glen said they would have it Tuesday morning. Being a skeptic, I asked and confirmed are you sure tomorrow. Oh, "yes" he replied again. I showed up Tuesday around 11am. UPS came but this part is coming fedex...glen said. Should be here this afternoon. NO CALL FROM GLEN...now 3:30pm Tuesday. He said first thing in the morning. I asked Glen...have you checked the tracking number to make SURE its on the delivery for today. I don't have to...I'M SURE! NOTHING.

I show up Wednesday morning 10:30am it still isn't here. I told him I wanted my money back that I'm going somewhere else. Well, I will have to charge you a restocking fee. I reminded him that he said it would be here TUESDAY GUARANTEED...and NO I'm NOT PAYING THAT. He assured me that it would be here TODAY by 3:30pm Wednesday. I decided to give them one last chance.

I get home and get a call from them. Ah, it's here. I answer and Glen says, "Well, it's not going to be here. FEDEX put it on a FREIGHT truck and they don't know when it's going to be here.

Now remember when I asked him to call and verify that it was on that delivery for TUESDAY....C U S T O M E R S E R V I C E....and YES, I've been in there at least three times when SCOOTER is cussing and being a complete ASS to his employees. This place will be taken out through online competitors...THEY ARE A JOKE....!!! USE THE INTERNET

I went there yesterday to purchase a Toro Zero Turn lawn mower, as I was being helped, a customer came in (after me) and was irritated that he had to wait. He left the front and went to the back without a workorder. Apparently this irritated Scooter because he came to the front yelling and being very rude to his employees demanding that the workorder be made and printed. Two people were ahead of that customer!!! The employee helping me had to stop helping me to do what Scooter said for a customer that was THIRD in line!!! The employee apologized for the rudeness of his boss and having to take away from helping me. They just lost a sale of around $3000!!!!

this establishment is a joke,they overcharge like no other,poor management,dont try calling because you will be placed on hold and most likely forgotten about if this happens try going up there and see just how busy they might be,i know i did and they seemed like they were more worried about horseplaying instead of running a business.if you do happen to stroll in there be prepared to be swindled into buying a stihl or redmax product thats been outrageously marked up when everyone else has just about the same price,save your money shop else where or keep your money locally closer to you.if i could rate this business no stars i would but i had to pick something.

I agree.The service has gotten horrible,and I live in beaumont.They are not what they used to be,they have fell off my radar.I would refer anyone to shop at home depot or lowes before i pointed in their direction.They never could give me a rock solid answer to any question i had and almost always gave me the run around about my equipment.Very un-professional establishment!!

shop at scooters,they mark all theyre products up 75% and the service is horrible.it took a month and a half for them to service my equipment and when i went to go pick it up it still wasnt fixed right and they wanted to charge me extra labor for fixing the mess they made in the first place,i hardly ever see the owner there and when he is in there he is screaming and kussing at his employees like they are dogs. i you live out of the area i recommend you keep your money locally instead of wasting your gas to travel to this business becaude in the long run it will only end up costing you more than you wanted to spend.the zero turns are hideous with scratches and dents all over them,i wouldnt be caught sitting on one.i would prefer superior lawn over them,i wont be back there again.
