        Coastal Transmission Service of Beaufort provides transmission repair for automatic and manual transmissions. Each transmission technician is highly qualified and ready to deliver their expert automotive transmission repair knowledge & skills. Coastal Transmission opened in Savannah, Georgia in 1976 and expanded to other areas including Beaufort, South Carolina in 1986. Although our transmission repair shop has been individually owned since 1989 it is still a member of the Coastal Transmission Group and ATRA. Coastal Transmission proudly serves the multi county area including: Beaufort, Jasper, Collenton, Hampton, Allendale, and Barnwell counties. Our transmission repair shop services vehicles from family cars to police, ambulance, fire trucks, motor homes, many medium and large work trucks. Our Beaufort Transmission repair shop is a member of the Automatic Transmission Rebuilder Association and a AAA approved repair facility. Also our transmission technicians and service writers are ASE certified. Our reputation is second to none and our transmission shop takes pride in providing quality transmission repairs at reasonable prices. Our warranty service is also second to none. Any problems are dealt with immediately with a no questions asked repair warranty policy. Our shop is proud to be affiliated with the non-profit organization known as the Automatic Transmission Rebuilder Association (ATRA). As an ATRA member our automatic transmission repair shop adheres to the service and repair definitions which are a part of the ATRA bylaws and code of ethics. Coastal Transmission Service of Beaufort pledges to all of our customers that we will not remove a transmission from a vehicle in order to complete a repair unless absolutely necessary.         Overall

        Told me they knew what the problem was with my truck. When I was unable to leave it with them for immediate repair and tried to make an appointment for a day or two later, they told me to go elsewhere and hung up the phone. Can't figure it out. Maybe they were afraid I would get a second opinion. Unacceptable and rude.
