        We are senior's who paid $ 325 for a dump-truck load of firewood.I asked if this was hardwood,creosote-free wood,no pine.Was told most certainly.Good, so I am burning the wood for several weeks. Noticed wet area on bottom steel plate under round adjustable damper's on stove door.There was so much creosote while burning that it started to drip out of the 2 round damper's on bottom of stove door and onto the steel lip under door. The build-up on the inside of stovepipe fell down and caught fire.The bottom of stove pipe was glowing red-hot.Closed all air-intake on stove and put water around pipe.Had to wait a few hrs. for fire to stop.Feared loosing our home.Had to clean stove-pipe several times while burning firewood.Once in a while smoke blew out of the 2 round adjustable dampers on bottom of stove door when inside of stove door combusted from creosote.The top cover on the outside stove-pipe look's like it is soaked and wet in creosote.The owner of this Co. was nice & friendly.
