Joe Gentry Automotive has seriously gone downhill. Ever since I started taking my car in January it seems to be a domino effect of problems. Long story short I ended up having to get my head gasket replaced because they missed certain things before. When I got it back a check engine light was on and ended up being a misfire in cylinder 3 (Gentrys replaced all the spark plugs), at this point I was over them and went to another mechanic and we discovered the plug was put in too tight so it was cracked and bent. Replaced it, engine light came on for a misfire in cylinder 1. I took it back to gentrys (because the spark plugs were paid for before so they should fix their mistake). I take it back and they begin telling me they want to look at some other things and when I let them know I don't trust them with my vehicle Joe Gentry himself gets all worked up and tells me to leave. Their work and customer service was very disappointing this time around and I have always recommended them to friends or family but this experience has opened my eyes. I would rather spend my money else where to get things done correctly instead of waste my time here again!
The owner came to us!!! We had a brand new 2015 43’ Landmark and needed some adjustments and he brought a guy and came out to us and they went above and beyond to do what needed done at a very reasonable price! We have since called him from different places and told him what was going on and he would trouble shoot over the phone! Could not ask for better service than what we received! Highly recommend Tim and his crew!!!
If only I could put in to words how wonderful everything about this store and the family is. I have known the Hargrave family for nearly 12 years now, I am forever grateful for everything they have done for me. They truly go above and beyond to exceed expectations and provide quality service and merchandise with the utmost professionalism. The staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming. If you go there you will be treated like gold and feel right at home. The store is absolutely STUNNING, and the selection is very broad and different than what you would typically find in other stores. The appraisal service they offer is the best in the state, hands down! very thorough, and beautifully layed out. They are amazing!
I took my ring in for a reappraisal. It was appraised 10+ years ago. It took longer than promised. Then when I went to pay for and pick up the appraisal it only had a bottom line number for a multi stone ring. When I expressed my displeasure I was told that I would get a call next week. After I left the jewelry store I took the appraisal to my insurance company and they said what if the center stone gets lost how do we know what to pay? It is Monday morning and the appraiser phoned. Asked what my problem with the appraisal was. I told him what the insurance company said. And he said with what he provided they should be able to figure it out. If I wanted them to figure it out I wouldn't have paid you $150.
I called Brads wrecker service, they are very nice people and always on time. I would recommend them to anybody.
They over extremely over charge for their services. almost a $400 charge to change a starter. Plus they wanted to charge $650 to replace the back brakes 1 rotor and 1 caliper. Ridiculous.
Excellent job! O'Daniels was recommended to me by another RV place that does not do diesel work. Took my DP in for repair of the overflow tank, and the yearly service on fluids and filters. He also saw to the repair of a nasty bash in the fiberglass on the front dome of the rv saving me a lot of time and travel. All the work was done well, the roof looks great. i appreciated the updates on the work being done, and also appreciated them working with my odd schedule. I will be back for some additional work in a few months. Thank you!
Called this shop to perform mobile service on a Class A motor home. Charged $200 just to show up PLUS $100/hr to try and troubleshoot the problem. Poor technical knowledge & lack of tools yielded NO repair, a $500 invoice PLUS a recommendation that RV needed to go to O'Daniel shop for a multi-thousand dollar repair. Fortunately a 2nd mobile mechanic (who was not a RV Tech) was consulted who made the needed repair with a $25 dollar part. Buyer beware in regard to mobile RV Service from O'Daniel!
I've called multiple places for quotes and this was the first place that was flat out rude. I called and asked if it would be possible to get a quote and he responded with "we don't usually DO quotes because they are never right, and its 5'o'clock on a Friday"...I said no problem, if you are too busy - and he cut me off... and said "listen dude, it's 5'o'clock and we are busy", at which point I laughed at how ridiculous this guy was acting and hung up the phone.Wow...................................
I called at 8:55am, he told me, "give me a minute, i'll be right there."I called again at 9:51, and their dispatcher told me that he was on the way, but couldn't give me an estimate.I called again at 10:32, and the dispatcher told me that he should've been there by now, and she would call them for information.she called back at 10:44 to tell me that he would be there in 15 minutes.he finally arrived at 11:10 just as happy as could be as if me waiting 2 1/4 hours wasn't anything out of the ordinary.The tow was from around Kroger off of Alexander to a shop about a mile and a half away, and took the entire morning.i would not recommend them, and will never use their service again.
