Very much a "spa" in comparison to other "salons" in the area. Expensive though - charge NYC prices. The BEST massage is from Meghan; the best hair removal is from Ella, and the best hair stylist/color is from Georgia. She also does wedding parties. She works only Fri & Sat. She has been doing this for more than 20 years, has all the training and is hired for Fashion Week in NYC to do hair for models. She also works one or two days a week someplace at the Jersey Shore. Make an appointment early to book her. Ella is the Queen of the Perfect Eye Brows. She also does all the other parts of the body that needs hair removal. As for the Eye Brows, most of the employees go to her.Meghan is in a class by herself. She used to work for a chiropractor so she really knows her stuff. I have been been go for massages for years and finally found her. I do not go to anyone else. If she is off, I don't go. The only massage I can think of is when I had the good fortune (by a connection) to get a massage from the woman who does the massages for the San Diego Bronco's and is stationed at the naval base in San Diego. Hope this helps.
Definitely go to John for a pedicure and a massage. He's the best.As for nails, no one can surpass Tye
The owner is a sharper, it was the first time for me to go to that salon and when I got there the owner told me I order to do my hair it's going to cost $35 but after I finished she told me $45 I was shocked because she told me it's going to cost $35 and suddenly after I finished she is giving me a totally different price and when I confronted her with this she was like no I meant $35 for just using the hair dryer, what??????!!!!!!!! She's not honest and an exploiter person, she's honest and she doesn't care whether the customer is satisfied or not, and by the way I paid the $45 and my hair messed up just 1hour after I left the salon and it wasn't looking good at all, I will never go back to that salon.
Horrible. They can't do a gel manicure. My nails were buffed for an hour - they put the thinnest coat of polish on and my nails were dull when they came out of the UV box. After a week they are chipped and cracked worse than a regular polish manicure. Do not waste your time or money.
Very mediocre. They are fine for regular single color nail polish but they can’t do gel manicures or nail art. I’ve tried to get gel nail art there twice both times it was done sloppily and they up-charged me for every tiny thing. The first time I got rhinestone bows which they charged m $5 each for bow, even though I know for a fact they charged someone else $5 extra total, I didn’t argue over such a small amount. But it began to chip and peel the very next day. When I returned to get it repaired they had an attitude about it. They fixed it but it peeled again soon after. The person who did my nails today stabbed m under my nail and cut into my finger with the cuticle cutter. I showed them a picture of a very simple nail design which she executed poorly and sloppily. If you can’t do it say so and don’t let me waste my money. I don’t think I’ll go back and if I do in would only be for a regular nail polish. They suck a gel
