On May 4th I went to Newins in search of a car, not really sure about what type only that I preferred a manual. The salesman Matthew Stickney greeted us, he was incredibly friendly, helpful and not pushy. (Everyone I spoke to at the dealership was very nice). To my surprise he was able to deliver on a car I never knew I wanted, a Ford Focus ST. It has everything I asked for and more. What a great car!! Thanks to Matt and the Newins team for making my experience a positive one and I couldn't have asked for better service. I would highly recommend Newins Bay Shore Ford.

I have purchased two vehicles through Newins Bay Shore Ford, with a sales rep there by the name of Eric Stickney. The guy knows his stuff inside and out. He's humble, ready to go the extra mile, and always has a pleasant disposition. (And I am not an easy person to get along with when it comes to 'out the door' numbers *grin*). I never felt any overbearing pressure from him to buy, and he was always willing to answer my questions and work to find us the exact vehicle that we wanted, at a very competitive price.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The service department has got to be the worst group of incompetent people I have ever dealt with. The service writer Matt seemed to have no clue what was going on with my truck and the service manager Eric is seemingly non existing because when I asked to speak to him I was told he was un-available and wouldn't be able to speak to me any time soon. I even left him 2 messages which were never returned. Brought my truck in for an inspection. They said it needed a factory recall where they had to re-program the computer. Whatever they did screwed up the computer so that the gear indicator screen was totally blank. Then the very next day the check engine light comes on and the whole motor starts shaking like a leaf. When I brought it back Matt said there was nothing they could do because they had to delete the feature to make room in the computer for an emissions update. Upon contacting Ford Motor customer service I found out this is completely false and they actually advised me to take the truck out of there and bring it to a more knowledgable dealer. This is a work truck which is vital for day to day activities and they had it sitting in there shop for 4 days before they even looked at it. Now I have to bring it to a different dealership to repair all the things they messed up and I'm going on a week without my work vehicle.

The service department is a joke. It seems like they just hire anyone with a set of wrenches and then try and blame in on the customer when things are done wrong.
