My fiance and I went in for halo hair extensions and are very very unhappy. first off we were charged $100 for the owner to color the hair extensions. the dye was literally less than $10... for a grand total of $300 for the hair pieces. the hair pieces are not full enough she did not use enough hair. will not blend no matter how she uses the hair... We just found out today that My Fiance could have had regular hair extensions put in her hair for half what we were charged for sub par product at Mingus. We are chalking this up to a very expensive learning experience. I would not suggest going here without doing all research on pricing and products first. We feel very taken advantage of( hustled) by all means..... Good luck...... And just so we are clear My Fiance was able to wear the pieces one time and one of them broke. We had to take it back and have it fixed and the girls at the desk were kind of rude about setting time to pick it back up.. This again is an unfortunate learning experience for us. Hope she doesn't take advantage of you too.....

I went in to the salon hoping for the best because I was cutting my hair pretty short and was nervous, and I specifically chose this place because it has well reviews. The stylist was extremely nice and I even showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. I wanted it a little shorter in the back and to come forward longer, and with longer layers. Immediately after cutting my hair, the stylist curled it and I THOUGHT it looked great, but I was terribly mistaken. The curls hid this terrible hack job.I straightened my hair the next day, and I realized my bottom layer of hair isn't even the same length! My hair almost does a V shape with the uneven cut. And the "layers" she did is, as you can see, just one single chop through my hair and it just lays there awkwardly out of place. This is not what I asked for at all, and I definitely expected better, especially since I paid $40! Don't get me wrong, the stylist was very friendly, but this is NOT what i asked for, or what anyone would ask for. It's hideous and I am utterly embarrassed to go anywhere with this hair. Now I will have to pay more money to have it fixed, and I'll have to go much shorter than I wanted because of this.Horrible!
I have gone to Jessica's Salon for a long time. The stylists very knowledgeable and are very nice and fun to be around. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you can settle down with a nice cup of coffee. They have FREE WIFI and they always play great music. This salon is top notch. I recommend them to all of my friends who are looking for a fun place where the laughter flows freely and the prices are reasonable.
I just love Pat and Emily. Professional yet so much fun. ❤️️❤️️❤️️. The ladies there are great with anything you need.
Mariah has been my stylist for almost 6 years now. I can't imagine anyone else ever touching my hair! She understands how to cut my crazy thick, short hair so that it's the most flattering on me. I get SO many complements on my cut AND color. She's always willing to do something different when I get bored, but she never lets me do anything I would regret. She's the sweetest person you'll ever meet and I consider myself lucky to be her client. She's very reasonably priced and scheduling is always easy.
My whole family has used Minges Creek salon for years. We absolutely love Felicia. Guys, girls, straight hair or super curly, everyone's hair always turns out perfect! Thank you!
I am a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor so I have personally known the owner Terry and the stylist Mariah for many years. Blu Rok Salon is the only salon I will trust with my family. Mariah is amazing. Most of my extended family go to her as well because she is so good at what she does. She always goes out of her way to make sure we are comfortable and satisfied with our services. I trust her opinion because I know she will never do anything to damage my hair, unlike other cosmetologists I've known. She is extremely fair and well educated in her art. I highly recommend Mariah Cook to everyone.
I've called them 4 times over several days trying to set up an appointment for a haircut. Two of the times someone was supposed to call me back later, but I never received a call. No customer service.Edit: The day after I posted this I received a call for an appt. They got me in the next day. The salon was nicer looking than I would have expected. The stylist did a good job. I've upped my rating slightly.
Horrible customer service from Moriah. Avoid her like the plague! Should clean to be able to do your hair the way you want and then when it doesn't turn out anything like what she promised, if you don't come back to her within a week or two, she'll say sorry it's too late. She only works 3 days a week and I work full time and my 2 kids had sports all those 3 days, so I finally managed to squeeze in an appt. about 3 weeks later. An hour before my appt. she called me and said she's not going to honor it because it's been too long. It became obvious to me why she only works 3 days......few customers! So I paid over $100 for my hair to look basically the same as it did when I came in.
Rick is very rude and should not be allowed to cut hair. He chopped off 3 inches when I asked for a 1 inch trim. He refused to admit what he had doneto my hair or provide a refund. I highly recommend NOT making an appointment with him. You are better off putting your hair in a blender!
