We were supposed to have one of our appliances fixed last Friday. They called Thursday and said they wouldn't be able to fix it until next Tuesday due to yhe flooding in Baton Rouge and people needing help. Fine. Fast forward to Tuesday, Sept 6. Our appointment day. Did anyone show up? NO. Did anyone bother to call us to say "we're on our way" or "we have a schedule issue"? NO. Awful customer service. We've been without a dryer for a week. Don't tell people you'll be at their place on a certain day then don't even bother to show up or call. It takes some nerve to make people miss work waiting for your business to show up and you never do. This place also does business under the name Sherwood Television and Appliances. Avoid BOTH.

It only took three months to get my television from broken to repaired. Sherwood constantly called me 10 minutes before they close to setup an appointment. I've called them in the morning the follow day only to be told that I would receive a call back (which was again right before they close). So getting anything scheduled was a royal pain.Then we get to the part of fixing a television. Yes, from start to finish it took this company three months to diagnose and repair my television. I don't know how they are doing things at this store; when I do a repair on a computer, I go through a process to verify that it is in working condition before I ever give it back to a customer.Then to sweeten the whole ordeal on my, thankfully, final call with this company, while being on hold for eight minutes, I am told that my television has been fixed but they are waiting for a good date to deliver it to me. If you do business with Sherwood then expect to be put last. Expect to do all followup calls. Expect an ear full of excuses as to why they repeatedly fail to do their job.
Awesome people, awesome service! The lamp in my Samsung DLP TV blew out this morning; and my first thought was "the Saints season opener starts in 9 hours!" I searched for tv repair with the YP app on my iphone and called the first number I saw. Shelly answered with the friendliest voice. She is wonderful! They walked me through step by step how to dismantle my tv and remove the lamp. I brought the busted lamp right over to their shop and they replaced the bulb within 5 minutes. I went back home, re-inserted the lamp and instantly my tv was back to normal (with 8 hours still left before kickoff). The service I received was amazing! Give these guys a call!
