My call to the Bankers office was at 9am. The service representative was professional and linked me to the person I needed to speak with regarding my aunt. I strongly recommend calling and scheduling an appointment as this location is busy; Baton Rouge only has two locations.
This place is absolutely awful. I went to change my name (maiden to married name) expecting to wait, but this was absolutely ridiculous. There was only one of the TWENTY desks dedicated to helping those in need of name changes. According to the ticket number when I got there, it seemed that there were at least 15 people waiting to be helped with name changes. In the HOUR AND A HALF that I was there they helped TWO people with name changes. Seeing as I was about number 15 I finally left. Based on the rate they were running I would have been there for six hours. I didn't realize I would need to take an entire day off work to go visit an office that claims to have a "thirty minute wait time on average." Oh, and don't bother trying to make an appointment- of course the one service that they don't offer appointments for is name changes. But they can do it for you via mail with the ever so short turn around of 3 - 4 WEEKS. Mail actually would probably be less frustrating and time consuming at their rate. Or I could try to go earlier or later in the day except that they are only open from 9-3 and they on Wednesday they are only open from 9-12... seriously?
