anyone who gives this place a good review is lying to you. this is the worst place i have ever lived in my life. it would seem like the rather pricey rent would come with benefits but it doesn't. instead you get animal feces in the hallway, trash bags in the stairwells and poor management. when dealing with pressing issues, management will literally avoid calls and meetings. i tried to schedule a meeting with the manager, Gina Pendarvis, and she told me she was "too busy" to try and set a time for us to meet. I'm sorry? What? This complex takes advantage of college students and over charges them because they can. Last time i checked, it doesnt cost $250 to clean a fridge.

After renting from this company for several years, I decided to move out. Before I was allowed to contact Channel Realty, the neighbors contacted them. The next day after being contacted Lynn from Channel Realty called me and told me that the neighbors contacted her about my move and that I had until the 1st of November to be out because someone else wanted the unit. My response to her was it was not the neighbors responsibility to contact her about my move nor was it her responsibility to give me a time to be out because I never contacted Channel Realty. Because of her unprofessional rudeness, i moved out as she told me to. My last day was Oct 30, 2017. She did not grant a walk through of the property and has denied my deposit. Channel Realty has a VERY RUDE staff, especially Lynn...... Hopefully my deposit is used to clean the living conditions of Baker Blvd apartments
The apartment wasn't the one on the picture/ brochure in the EBRHA office. I was told there was a groundskeeper. The grounds on the quad I stay in are nasty & trashy. I have mold which means everyone in the quad has mold from leaks in the plumbing where water has settled. The tenants are nasty and trashy and Rabel properties doesn't enforce the rules, yet she would rather me leave than to fix things. Her standing with HUD is on shaky grounds. She doesn't meet the deadlines for repairing her property.
She is very knowledgeable on a number of subjects, especially when it comes to real estate and financing. She is on top of her game. She is an educator.RLCompton
This Real Estate Agent is really a joke. Contacted them for many time about a problem on a property this company manages, no response at all. Do not do any business with this company.
really the worst company in Baton Rouge, it's a total scam. Never return calls, emails, or fix anything, the property is a dump under their management. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
My name is Tamara D. Harris Manor realty were the company I went through when purchasing my home. Mrs. Denise Harris was my realtor her & her staff were excellent! Very professional, organized, knowledgeable, & they ensured the whole home buying process will be stress free, fun, & mostly a happy memorable experience! I can't thank Mrs. Denise Harris enough, because she has helped me obtain the American dream. I never would have imagined geting approved for my first home to be newly built & designed by me with everything on my wish list. Mrs. Harris helped me every step of the way & today I'm blessed and thankful God sent Harris Manor Realty my way!
I do not recommend the Standard, or University House, or whatever they choose to call themselves. The people that wrk downstairs in the leasing office are rude, incompetent, and less than willing to help their residents. The hallways are always full of trash, vomit, mud, etc. The door to the clubhouse, a main access point into the building, has been broken for over a month, which is allowing anyone to walk into the complex without a key. The "controlled access gates" are left opened, allowing anyone to drive into the parking garage. We have not received most of the amenities that we have been promised, and if we have received them, they have not been kept up with. The printer in the clubhouse is always out of ink, and we have not been supplied with paper, which of course is the least of the problems. It has now been three months since the property has been opened, and all of the elevators have yet to be installed. The finishing of the property was rushed, therefore nothing is up to the standards that were described to the residents when we signed the lease. The floors are popping up, the walls curve, the ceiling isn't even, and the paint jobs look as if a three years old had done them. Bugs and rats have been found in multiple rooms through the building, and it has taken maintenance weeks to come out for the call. This place of residence is far too expensive for all the problems that we are forced to deal with
I have rented from them before and had horrible service. When things are broken they never really were fixed properly. The staff was unhelpful and seemed put out when you would ask them for assistance. I rented from them at Orleans place, I always tell people not to associate with this company. I have had people share their bad experiences with me as well. Not a good company!
She sold my bff her home. And she sold me and my husband our home she is the greatest she explains the process to us and was very thorough.
