From Business: We are a family owned business that has been serving the Baton Rouge area and surrounding parishes for over three decades. We are small enough to know our custome…
I used this clearners for the 1st time being my husband had been taking his clothes there for about a year. They ruined a pair of tights that cost me $90. I brought them in to get the zipper replaced after it came off the track. The hardware and zipper on the tights were gun metal, very close to dark gray/black. When I picked them up, they replaced the hidden zipper with a bright gold zipper that didn't hide. I should have known they didn't care about service at this point, but I allowed them to correct this mess. After they replaced the gold zipper with a black hide away I was satisfied until I attempted to wear them. Apparently, they stitched the zipper off seam and there's a bunched up area of thread to the side of the original seam. This look horrible and tacky. After discovering this, I brought the pant in only to wait outside of the store for 20 minutes because the store keeper was running an errand. Anyway, when she returned she was EXTREMELY rude and blamed the condition on the designer. She was unreceptive and began to act like she didn't understand me. I asked if she was the owner and she said no.. Later on she said she was the owner. I'm not sure which is true, but what I do know is their manner of conducting business is very bad. I paid $90+tax for the tights from BeBe so they're not cheap tights. Please don't trust these people with your clothing. They are rude, unprofessional, lack understand, and will not take ownership for their mistakes.
If I could give a "0" I would. The cleaners damaged a Ralph Lauren classic button down shirt, it had holes in the back of the arm and the bottom of the shirt after being pressed. Another Ralph Lauren cotton classic shirt was stained in blue stains from the collar all the way down the front of the shirt. They tried to say it happened because he works outside, but he doesn't work outside at all, he works indoors. Then they said sometimes they can't get stains out and the cleaners they use don't get everything out. So a second person tried to speak and he said he wasn't the person that took in the clothing originally so he couldn't say if we were right. Well we wasn't bringing clothes to the cleaners with holes in it. What made me write this review was they never apologized, never acknowledged wrong doing and never tried to refund the dry cleaning cost which was 6 shirts, and never tried to reimburse for the damaged merchandise. Using Smart Cleaners is not a smart decision.
The the best cleaners I have ever gone to and the very best prices.. the owners are very nice and courteous... i drive from Walker all the way down Florida to bring my clothes there
Horrible cleaners. They will lose and ruin your clothing. I brought my clothing there and they lost my skirt and my white expensive dress had what appeared robbed burn marks on it. The worker told me that's what happens when soap is still on a dress and they iron over it. I said find my skirt and wash my dress again. They said they don't have a record of my skirt and that the receipt I have does not match their receipt. I refused to accept that response and they eventually called me and told me they found it. I go back up there to get my skirt and dress, only for the same burn mark to be on my dress. The owners son explains that they didn't do that and won't pay for it but that I can get a lawyer. Terrible terrible place. DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHING THERE BY ANY MEANS!!!!!!
The WORST!! Everything looked EXACTLY the same as I brought it in. They refused to "RE-do" services.
No more laundry worries, drop off all my laundry and dry cleaner needs at JDs. Reasonable prices, excellent work, so convenient .
I decided to search for a wash and fold service this week. I called companies in the Highland Road area, and even into Prairieville. Some of the companies took time to answer my questions since this process was something new to me. Yes, I had questions about laundry.... JD Duz was one of the 2 companies that took time, without rushing through the conversation. I ended up dropping my clothes off at about 11:00am. The staff was beyond polite and helpful. I asked if I could pick them up Friday. They told me that would be no problem but they would be ready by the end of the day if I wanted them earlier. Sure to their word, I arrived at 4:30pm and it was all finished. In nice, neat stacks the laundry was packed into bags and smelled fresh! I will be back next week for the same service! Great work you guys!Jason
They are very customer service centric and easy to work with. Also reasonable on price and friendly.
Very clean, very nice, customer service A+. Can speak to the person who feels he should have been given a refund -- but it's difficult for me to believe they would not have given it. I dropped my clothes off to be laundered because my washer broke down. The clothes were folded perfectly, much neater than I do it. I also had a blazer dry cleaned - no prob. there. Everything was ready the next day, as promised -- although I did drop them off sometime after lunch... prob. clothes are dropped off much earlier, you could get them the next day. I believe their dry cleaning service is only several times each week -- so I timed it just right. There are also washers and dryers if you want to do your own. I think this place is great and the reason I didn't give it a 5 is because most things in life are not perfect. I found no reason not to return to this business.
