Dr Huynh is tops in my book.I used him 2 years ago he was very informative and as I am older and hard of hearing very helpful.The glasses he measured me for fit much better than any I have got in the past.I am going back this,or next week since it is time to get new glasses.
ive been wearing glasses for 30 years and have bought quite a few pairs but never had an optician as helpful as the one at vision for less, Serena took her time and truly helped me with picking out frames that look the best on me, being honest about what looked the best on me, i was very satisfied with my service there and ended up getting 2 pairs that i love. I have an appointment today for my boys, but because I was super busy and short of people at work my mother offer to help by taking by sons to Vision For Less for the eyes exam. Later, I received a phone call from my mother and she told me over the phone that the Vietnamese doctor Kiet T. Huynh asked her "Do you speak English well? The children mother speak fluent English why didn't she bring them here." Then the phone was handed over to me with the doctor on the other line, I asked him "Can you speak Vietnamese to my mother?" He replied "My Vietnamese is not good, I need you to bring them back so incase something wrong I can tell you." I asked " Can you tell me over the phone after you've exam them?" But he refused to so I decided to have my mother take them some where else. So much of a bilingual doctor. If you do not speak fluent English...then don't bother to come here because they will not serve you. This place truly is SERVICE FOR LESS!!!!!!
QUITE POSSIBLY THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. I called yesterday to see if I would be able to fill my moms prescription, seeing that she is in the hospital, and the general manager assured me as long as she has visited before, they can duplicate her measurements. BUT WHAT DO YOU KNOW, I go in today and they look at me like I am damn idiot and are very condescending . I talked to the general manager on the phone, and she was the one waiting on me today.. But claims she didn't speak with me yesterday.. I just want to know how many general managers it takes to run the place because I am positive they only have 1.. Needless to say, I was very unhappy and made them aware, as they proceeded to kick me out. THE NAME SHOULD BE SERVICE FOR LESS.
Fair prices and you get your glasses the same day so thats always going to be major positives. Other than that, customer service must have never been defined for these people (who have been there for years) and apparently their mothers taught them manners. LONNNG WAIT for service. As I said all fair prices and getting your glasses the same day is always a major positive... this has to be the ONLY reason this place is still in business. Why there arent more locations? I'll never know!!
