I wish getting things done was this easy with every contractor. It was a big decision and I feel like we made the right choice going with Ira at Sunlight. My house feels the way it should now and my AC actually cycles. The crew was helpful, polite, and you couldn't tell they were here after the job was done. The product warranty and contract were legit, while other companies seemed shady. I can't wait to see my energy bill this August. I recommend going with Sunlight if you want it done right the first time.

Sunlight Contractors recently completed spray foaming insulation in my home. I must say they came on time went to work like professional; everyone knew his part and the job ran well. When the job was completed it was done well and right. Afterwards they cleaned up. I would give Sunlight Contractors a 10 for a job well done

Top notch service and product, really know their field and for that the price is worth it. I have tried insulating houses myself, using the kit system such as SPRAYEZ, but these products are nightmares, they have to be done perfectly or else you will get these chemicals all over your house and floors, then you have to spend the rest of the week cleaning it up. Just get the professionals to insulate it.

It is amazing! During the cold spells, the house holds the temperature around 70 degrees. I seldom had to run my heater and when I did it held the temperature for very long periods. I had my lowest electric bill ever during this period!

My son is getting ready to purchase a home and I will be calling....

I feel compelled to write this about a home improvement product that actually saves me a fortune on my energy bills.
Sunlight Contractors is a very professional company to work with. The crew was on time and cleaned up very well after they were finished. I had attic and subfloor insulation installed. I've had my spray foam for close to three years now. The difference I see in my energy bill is unbelievable. Last year during the summer months, prior to the install, my bill was right around $250 dollars. This year I did not pay over $140 in the hottest part of the summer. My air condition runs so much less because my home holds the cool air. And during the winter, my home stays warm, and my floors aren't ice cold. The comfort in my home is a difference between night and day. I would highly recommend this company!

I initially contacted Sunlight because they are the highest rated insulation company on Angies List. After speaking with Ira, I knew I was dealing with a company that cared. Ira not only took the time to talk to me about the process, but also encouraged me to speak with other companies to compare quotes and products. Any company that wants you to speak with competitors is clearly confident that they have the right product and staff. Thanks Ira!

I contracted Sunlight to install open-cell spray foam in my attic to control air leaks and extend the climate envelope of my house up to my attic, since my air handler and ducts are up there. Ira from the office stayed in contact with me the morning of my insulation install and gave me a heads up when the crew was arriving. Everyone was super friendly and professional, and they let me watch and ask questions while they performed the pre-install blower test. I left so the crew could start the install, and Ira contacted me less than three hours later to let me know they were done. My house is on the smaller side, but still, for setup, work, and cleanup, that's faster than I expected.

Ira followed up with a phone call later in the day to check in and ask if I'd already noticed a difference in how often my AC turned on (unfortunately, I'd spent the afternoon running around and hadn't paid attention – but see below for something great that I later noticed). From the office to the work crew, you can tell these guys are really into what they do. As a single woman, I'm always a bit wary when it comes to letting people into my home, but I felt comfortable with Sunlight during the entire process.

And as far as noticing a difference (when I'm paying attention)? Yes! Yesterday, the high was in the upper 70s, so I had the AC on. Last night dipped into the 50s, but I forgot to switch to heat. When this has happened previous to the spray foam install, I'd wake up to a house in the low 60s. This morning? A comfortable 70 degrees. I knew my house used to be pretty leaky, but the before and after blower tests – and what happened last night and this morning – really proved it. I'm so glad I finally got my attic sealed, and I'm very excited to see what happens this summer with the AC.

Definitely exceeded expectations.
In 2015 we had Sunlight come out to install spray foam installation. If you are in doubt whether or not this works, BELIEVE ME it does. In 2014 we had double pane insulated windows installed because everyone told us they would do the trick since our windows were over 40+ years old. Well, they were somewhat right, it blocked out the noise, unfortunately the house was still hot! The air conditioning never kicked off during the summer and the house stayed at 88 when the thermostat was set on 70. It would finally reach 70 at about 2 in the morning and would finally kick off for about 45 minutes and then it started all over again. We had ceiling fans in every room plus a window unit in our bedroom. It was totally miserable.

We started looking & doing our homework on spray foam insulation. We received quotes from other companies but as their sales people came out it was a quick walk around the property & just throwing out a number. Not one of them sat down and explained exactly what would be needed & done to protect the investment & cost savings to our home. Sunlight came out and not only spent an inordinate amount of time with us but did a door blower test, walked around the property, went up into the attic, showed my husband exactly what was needed and told us the best avenue to take on the type of house that we have. They also explained all the different insulation's that were available and what would work well with our home. We had a two-car carport and everyone else was telling us the spray foam would have to be put over the carport area along with the living area. Sunlight told us it would be a waste of our money and their suggestion was to put up to two walls of plastic and spray the insulation onto it and it would create a more secure insulated barrier. We weren't too sure about doing it that way, but now that it is done it is very secure and air tight. Oh, did I mention when we go up in the attic now you don’t start sweating right when you walk up the stairs, it is really actually cool in our attic, that even during the hottest part of the day you can go up and not even break a sweat!

The day of the insulation installation, they called us ahead of time and gave us an approximate time they would arrive. They went over everything that was quoted to us and got to work, by mid afternoon they were done, cleaned up and out of there. Ira called after they left and asked if everything was up to our standards and to call him if we had any questions.

What is really fantastic is that my unit does not kick on hardly at all during the day. The house stays at 70 all day and it is very cool.

One thing I did notice about this company is whether you call them or send them an email, they respond back immediately, which in today's business environment that is usually unheard of. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a professional job done and service after the installation at an affordable price.
