I recently took my 2003 Jetta Volkswagen to Moberly's and it was NOT a great experience. DO NOT bring your vehicle here.

My vehicle was shifting causing the vehicle to rub against the tires which led the tires to pop. I asked Moberly's to check into the problem. They called me back stating the Control Arms needed to be replaced. They told me once that is replaced that I would need to take it to a different shop to receive an alignment and that should fix the problem. I made the payment of $560 for the control arms.
I went to get an alignment (from a shop Moberly's referred) only to find out that the rear passenger tire needs a new axle. $900 for a new part alone. And the spindle was bent. Another big repair, $180. So close to $1500 With labor and the alignments to come, the car ended up being totaled and sold for parts. I got a whopping $450 for the vehicle right after I paid the $560 bill. Apparently Moberly's only checked the front 2 tires, because looking and not finding a crushed and bent axle is quite embarrassing for any mechanic.
We even explained that the second tire in a short time had gone flat and finally made us realize there was a bigger problem going on with the tire alignment. They even saw it when it was towed there. But still, they only checked the front.
Going to Moberly's is like going to the doctors, explaining you can't see and he only checks one eye.
Do yourself and your car a favor and keep looking for a mechanic that wont rip you off.

The guys there are the best my girlfriend vw bettle had a exhaust leak and had taken it to Midas they said that car need cat converters for 2500 dollars. That sounded crazy so took to Moberlys for second opinion and all it was a loose bolt on exhaust system. They are honest and fair. Don't take your car anywhere else Moberlys is the best in town.

Overall

I have been a customer of Moberley's for more than 13 years. They have worked on all of my cars ranging from a 1962 VW beetle to a Prius. They do excellent work, are honest to a fault, and have an excellent reputation in the community. Yesterday [11-2-15] I had the clutch go out in my 2004 Subaru. When I asked the tow driver if he knew where Moberley's was he said that yes, he had taken many cars their and that he knew them to be one of the top VW shops in the state of Louisiana. I agree.
