Assured Flooring & Countertops
4396 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808
The worst costumer service!! I bought tile a year ago, finally got around to having them install it, after I paid 75% (the required amount) they said they'd schedule me. I called the day before my scheduled appointment to confirm they were coming, and I wasnt. I had to wait 2 more weeks. The guy who did the installation was great! When I initially bought my tile I bought 2 types, slate and a mosaic. When discussing the plans to install the tile, I decided not to use the mosiac. I asked if I could return it, I understood there may be a restocking fee. I was told that they would have to check and call me back, I'm still waiting for some one to return my call.
Lastly, when installing the toilet the Falange got broken. My plumber was at my house installing the hard ware to the shower/tub. The installer asked my plumber if he would fix it, and my plumber did. I paid my plumber, and gave a copy to assured flooring. Thinking the toilet was broken by one of their guys, who asked my plumber to fix it, they'd be good enough to pay us back....again still waiting.
So word to the wise....use someone else, these guys are horrible with the public.
I had a great experience with Assured Flooring from sales to installation. Phillip helped me with choices to fit within my budget. Ryan came out to measure everything and answered several questions for me. Grant and Pedro came out to do the installation. They were polite, on time and careful with my beautiful new leathered marble countertops. I highly recommend them!
I've used Assured Flooring and Countertops for several projects and I give them a thumbs up! Their selections are good and their prices are competitive! I continue to use them for three reasons; 1. I've had four jobs and I was pleased each time. Jessie was great at helping me select quality products. The other owner, Michael, came out and gave me good pointers on how to get the look I wanted and save $$! 2. I like doing business with a locally owned company. 3. Ive referred several friends to them and each time they took good care of them AND gave me a discount on subsequent purchases! :)
I'm a home improvement specialist in the metro area. Since I discovered Assured Flooring about five years ago, I know now, they are the best and most dependable flooring and counter top business in Baton Rouge. Prompt, courteous, and just plain easy to deal with. Mike, Jesse, and their craftsmen are top notch, and their prices are very reasonable. Just remember people, "Skilled craftsmen aren't cheap, Cheap craftsmen aren't skilled. Give these guys a call, you won't be sorry.
Honestly, it seems like you have more of an issue with Abstract Glass than with Assured Flooring. They stood by their work and repaired you shower.
I, on the other hand, had an amazing experience with Assured -- thought pricing was fair compared to competitors, kind employees, and the installers were fast and did a great job.

This flooring and tile company is a nightmare. They installed glass tile in my shower which was mildewed. Albeit they retiled the shower at their expense which I would expect any company to do. When it came to reinstall the shower door, I begged them to use M and M glass who had originally installed the door and did a PERFECT job. Michael Hebert, the owner and Russell, the installation manager, insisted on using their own glass company, Abstract Glass (AG) that the owner and workers did not have a clue of what they were doing. Sure enough, they came out and spent 5 hours making the biggest mess you have ever witnessed. Two glass companies came to look at the disaster and said as follows: the gaskets were not even installed; there was one inch opening at the top of the shower door which was not even hung properly; screws were halfway installed, sticking out all over the sides, the bottom was upside down; the top threshold was completely out of sync; there was caulk all over the door and shower, everywhere except the cracks where it was intended and the list goes on. The copper shower heal was completely chipped with most of the paint gone.
On the day it was installed, I told AG that the job was unacceptable but they ran out of the door. I called Michael and Russel to come look at the mess that day but both refused, saying they were too busy. Michael, the owner, told me ""there must be something wrong with your head."" They have since never come out to look at the damage.
If you are looking for a disaster in your home or to be treated rudely and unprofessionally, by all means use Assured Flooring.

The managers and owners of Assured are the worst customer service reps I have ever dealt with. I can not say enough about how horrible they are.
They postponed my job numorous times and finally couldn't deliver what they promised. Then they tried to blame us for the problem. When we analyzed the invoice they overordered supplies charging us an extra $400 for materials they would not take back. In stead of working with us to resolve the issue they threatened us with a house lien and actually said we were ""crazy"".
Is this a company you want to deal with if an issue would arise? We went with Deniz Design and had a wonderful outcome.
