Bought a great Bistro set here better than retail. I go in each week to see what they have new.Best part is that my husband loves it too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kim and her staff are AWESOME - they have everything and always have new things. Great prices, great quality and the best customer service.
This place is closed and we're all the better for it. The lazy woman who ran the shop was underhanded. She damaged a couch my mother brought in to sell and tried to claim that the damage was preexisting when she knew full well it wasn't. Prior to that incident refused to return any of our calls, we had to go to the shop to try and get anything out of her. To top it off, she never paid my mother all of what she owed her for some of the items sold. She just kept ducking her calls until the shop finally closes. Let's hope she stays out of business for good. Shady lady!
This place has some really cool stuff. And always getting new things in.
To sellers: you are told that they sale it at a third of retail and give you a third of what they sale it for. Don't be afraid to whip out your phone and see what it retails for. I started doing this as a result of their irritation with my questioning the payout. I felt like an honest company would be more than happy to show you how fair they are. Integrity is everything, right? Well guess what?! Depending on if it's a big ticket item or not, they may sale it at half of retail and still give you a third. Please look it up, with an exception of clothes and books. They appear to always be reasonably priced. You also want to be aware of which employees are working when you go to sell. The quality of what's acceptable for them to purchase is very subjective. I have seen many items worn and sometimes stained which were available for purchase, but then had my items turned away that were in better condition than some of the items available for purchase. I've also had to ask why items in perfect condition were turned away only to have them accepted at that point. A few of the employees lack professionalism like you wouldn't believe. It would be tacky to name names, and pointless, being that they don't wear name tags.To buyers: ditto on looking up the retail value of items, excluding clothes and books. Fortunately, your check-out experience will be better than your selling experience. The clothes are generally where they belong and they tend to express their happiness with you purchasing. There are a lot of great buys and although there are a lot of things to go through, it's shoppable.
The tall, younger, black woman working behind the counter was inconsiderate, rude, bossy, and unprofessional. Not only did she lack manners, but her shirt was not completely covering her backside which exposed a few of her back rolls. Very distasteful. I went there last Thursday, and bought a few outfits, bows, and a baby carrier. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I went back with my friend Monday, and she bought a bouncer, LSU outfit, and smocked dress. Very nice clothing, and the staff was once again friendly. I went back yesterday to try and get rid of some of my daughters things she didn't need and was treated BEYOND POORLY. I went into the store yesterday with a handful of clothes that were on hangers in one hand and a bagful of clothes in my other hand. Noone was at the counter. I asked the lady standing next to the counter if she was also selling, and she said yes. Then the above-mentioned lady comes to the counter and says hi to me. I told her I wanted to sell my items. She snapped, "you have a group ahead of you." (That I already knew.) I said ok. She asked if I had sold to them before, and I said no. She handed me a form to fill out. Their counter was covered with closed, plastic bins. I laid the clothes that were on hangers on top of one of the closed bins. She snapped, "mam, you cannot put your stuff there. I need you to pick it up and put it in a bin." So I picked my stuff back up. I wouldn't talk to my dog as rudely and bossy as she did me. She then hung a plastic bin off the side of the counter, and told me, "just leave it on the floor." I had my stuff in my hands since I had been reprimanded like a child and apparently broke some sort of company rule by sitting my stuff on the counter. Where was this bin before I was asked to fill out the paperwork with the hangers and bag in my hands? She gave me the stink eye as I put my stuff in the bin she was dangling off the counter because I didn't put the bin on the floor then put my stuff in it! I was so befuddled by the experience that I left my purse in the bin accidentally. I will tell my friends, and anyone else I meet that I was treated poorly, and not to shop there. I will not be bringing my high chair or stroller there, either.
I love this store always find what I'm looking for . Great shoes and style could not ask for a better shoe store.
Love love this store , always find what I'm looking for and many shoes to choose from. Will shop here from now own.
This business is horrible!!!! The owner is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. False advertising and no customer relations!!!!!! Will never go back in her store again!!And the only reason I checked one star is because I couldn't post this without some kind of rating!
I do not normally write bad reviews, and usually chalk bad service down to a bad day..however i feel the need to share my recent experience, which was yesterday...My son and I went to ps to make a purchase and service stunk from the moment we walked in, until we walked out the door. 3 workers - all 3 dry personalities, no hello, no smiles. When I asked a question, it was like - how dare I?! 3 workers and all 3 horrible.. That's a problem.. Not a bad day. Also, was overcharged and had to question.. Cashier was obviously annoyed to have to walk to another worker to ask.. Then she made the change and forced a smile and a scripted - thank you at the end of purchase. Not impressed.
