Pharmacy staff is always helpful and accommodating. Hours of operation and Saturday closure are problematic. Parking difficult and no drive through. I try to coordinate med refills with days I have doctors appointments which is not always possible.
Regular service and purchase. Good customer service. Friendly workers. A true convenience for my family
This is CVS worst pharmacy in Baton Rouge , if you don't have time to waste I suggest Highly to go somewhere else...
the worst service I have experienced. The girls are rude and never complete the entire order. they also keep you waiting FOREVER. please check you medication before leaving because if you have a prescription that is not ready they will not inform you even after asking is all the medication is in the bag. also check to see if they ran you insurance correctly because they have messed over me more than once. If you go here please stop and make a u turn and run in different direction.
They are super slow. Give yourself anywhere from 1-4 hours. Just a head's up!
This place does not deserve a one star. Do not waste your time at this place. The staff does not care about customer service. I have been in to purchase items and multiple times your waiting in a line to check out for 15 minutes. Your not acknowledged and the manager will see a long line but chooses to ignore the busy situation instead of opening up a register to help. The pharmacy is a joke. Find another location. You can stand at the counter for 20 minutes and not be addressed or acknowledged by a single employee. The lead in the pharmacy can't even help because as a lead he doesn't know how to do the job. If a phone call came through or a customer drove up with a situation " he say we'll hold on let me get the girl that can help you".... really why even give him a leadership role if he doesn't know how to do the job. Currently I'm on hold to refill a medicine for 51 minutes and nobody will pick up the phone. This place is ridiculous. Worst establishment ever
DO NOT GO AND BUY A GREEN DOT !
Since the first time I have gone to this pharmacy I have not gone anywhere else. Ive tried several CVS and Walgreen's pharmacies around baton rouge, also rite aid, Walmart, albertsons, etc. And prescriptions to Geaux has surpassed them all. Its always the same pharmacist and same technicians every time you go, they know you by name, and if there is a problem they work very hard to solve it as well as save you money. My insurance is a pain to deal with and always presents a problem. Everywhere else would take days to solve the problem or tell me it couldn't be solved for a medication I need every day, whereas I have never had a problem that wasn't solved with prescriptions to geaux. I'll never go anywhere else and highly recommend it to anyone I meet.
You will eventually get your scripts, bring every form of ID short of a birth certificate and make sure that when someone tells you something that the entire pharmacy staff is standing right there agreeing, because one person says it's fine and the next tells you no. It's aggravating and I have NEVER had any problems like this with another Walgreens location in Baton Rouge.
Everybody is friendly and helpful, love the convenience. There is a cashier there sometimes that is not a people person, because of that the 4 stars.
