I cannot say enough good things about our experience with CAPS Transmission repair. They provide knowledgeable, professional, honest and caring service for your transmission. Yes – caring. I know it sounds weird to say that these days but Allan, the owner, is Number 1 when it comes to customer service. We had our transmission rebuilt at a fair price, in a short time, with a warranty. Now that I have told you the outcome, let me tell you about our experience here. We were traveling from Houston to New Orleans when our 2006 Honda Odyssey started acting up on I-10. It was like you took it out of gear while driving down the interstate, then the speedometer would stop working and it would coast to a stop. Once stopped, it would go again and as long as you kept it under 50 mph it was fine. Well, the check engine light was on so we went to a nearby Autozone and had them read the code. The code reader said it was a mismatched speed signal from the speed sensor to the output shaft. So the guy at the counter told us there was a transmission shop just up the street. Well, (luckily for us) we never found it. I got out my iPhone and searched transmission repair. I read a few reviews when I stumbled onto CAPS. I remember reading it and saying either this place is really good or they write their own reviews! So after making our way to CAPS we meet Allan (the Owner) and told him our story and he said he would try to do everything he could to get us back on the road today. It was Friday afternoon. He tried to find a new sensor for the van but could not get one until Monday, which meet we would have to stay in Baton Rouge over the week end. So then he set out to find a used one, which he was able to do. They test drove the van and came with bad news - the trans would have to be rebuilt! I would just like to tell you while we were waiting for them to diagnose our problem and we were waiting in the lobby I could hear other customers call as well as come in - Allan was honest and concerned for every customer he dealt with. In fact one elderly lady who had come in to make a payment for her repair expressed her regret for being late with the payment and was having a hard time coming up with the money. I heard Allan tell not to worry about any more payments, that they were even as far as he was concerned. It’s very hard to find someplace to take your car into to have a repair done and not worry whether or not they are going to rip you off or do the job right. Well, this is that place. I only wish they were located in Houston, near us, instead of Baton Rouge! Thanks for taking care of us Allan! It was our pleasure to do business with you. The Rainwater’s

The guys at Upholstery Limited are great. My Dodge new car salesman had originally recommended them. Before going there, I had checked out several other places in and around the Baton Rouge area, but wasn’t satisfied with my options or the customer service. However, the moment I walked into Upholstery Limited, I met with Dale Jr. who was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and had some great suggestions afterwards. I took his advice on the leather package for my 2014 Durango and I couldn’t be happier! The leathers seats look great and much better than I had ever imagined. I can feel that the aftermarket leather is premium quality and better than what I would have gotten already installed from the factory. I definitely recommend them for anyone in the area looking to upgrade their upholstery.
Yep...this is how to buy a car. I was hooked on Honda until I went to buy my fifth one and got more hustle than help at the dealership, so I did my research and decided to give Mazda a try. I can't tell you how amazing the experience was at Diamond Mazda. No hustle, no hassle and no "let me ask the manager" stalls. Our salesperson James Zimmerle met us outside and we immediately test drove the car we were interested in. A few minutes later we were quoted full blue-book trade value for our car and then he gave us an awesome deal on the new CX5. I appreciate straight talk and no hustle, especially since we are older. Total time at dealer was less than two hours from test drive to driving home and I can appreciate that they valued my time too. They actually made buying a new car "Fun" and its been a long time since I've said that.
I came in to talk to them about putting leather seats in the used to truck I had just purchased from Gerry Lane. Dale sounded like he knew the product, and had a lot of experience. Plenty of options to choose from, pretty much if you can imagine it, they can make it happen. The work was done in one day, like they said it would be. The work is exceptional and I credit salesman Bendell Bell at Gerry Lane for hooking me up with these guys. Integrity, promptness, and quality. Hard to find that these days. By the way, the cost was less than I thought it would be. The leather looks great, and the smell makes me want to be out driving right now.
Ordered seat covers for my car through these guys which they installed. Only to find out the covers had a gaping hole cut where the head rests were. They offered to glue some material to cover the hole. I refused this shoddy patch job. I requested the stock material, disassembled the seat covers on my own, and reassembled them without the gaping holes. I will not use these guys again as I do not believe they care about their image. One very dissatisfied customer here.
They did a fantastic job on my daughter's car ( 2013 Kia, redid the seats from cloth to leather and the door panels)...it looks new. I had looked at other shops in town that wanted entirely too much and would take 7-10 days? Upholstery Limit price was much lower, and took only ONE day. This is a super, awesome shop. I will be taking my truck to them next month....they have my business for life. You will amazed, I can guarantee it.
I've been using this shop for years on several vehicles. They always give me honest feedback about what my truck actually needs in addition to what is simply recommended. They have actually talked me out of repairs that I thought were needed but the actual problem was much cheaper and easier to fix. I drive nearly 30 minutes away from my home in Denham Springs to bring my vehicles to this shop, I highly recommend them.
Completely satisfied with the work and service at Upholstery Limited. Just picked up my 2000 Silverado after having both front seats reupholstered. They matched the color of leather and the truck looks and smells brand new again...Set appointment, drop off vehicle, pickup same day, can't beat that. Definitely will recommend these guys to others looking to have this type of work done.
I just picked up my 2002 Lincoln Navigator and could not be happier! The dashboard was recovered and dyed to match the original interior. And, sections of leather from both front seats were replaced. The work was done in a timely manner and the price was reasonable as well. But, the clean interior was icing on the cake! I would definitely recommend this business to anyone! THANKS!!
Dale Jr and Sr. were very helpful on my 2012 VW Beetle. I went from cloth interior to a fine, custom looking black leather interior. They told me exactly when it would ship and how long it would take. I found the price reasonable and with the 3 year warranty it's well worth it. Completely transformed the interior. Nice work guys!
