This has to be one of the best breeders in the world she does so much to help the dog developement so when you get a puppy it is already way ahead of most dog also she has a wealth of knowledge about the breed and raising these dogs I would get another puppy from her in a heart beat
Sandra has given me the best dog I've ever owned in my life (and I've had alot of different german shepherds from different places!). My boy I got from her is insanely smart and intune to me. He is rocking at his IPO training right now, my trainer im working with says he's a phenomenal dog. He has the perfect on/off switch for work and being in the house. I can not stress how perfect of a dog he is. And not to mention Sandra has been there if I've ever had any questions. Complete breeder support. I can not stress enough how AMAZING this breeder is. These are truelly exceptional dogs!!!!
After one and a half months of searching online for a reputable, ethical GSD breeder in NC, I finally found Vom Weiland Kennels in Bath, NC.
My research showed several breeders purporting to be what they are NOT! I found some of the most advertised breeders online (one even recommended by a reputable dog organization) are nothing more than glorified puppy mills. Red flags to look for: non refundable deposits, lots of puppies available, mother and father of puppies not on premises, etc. Finally I happened upon Sandra Weiland's Vom Weiland Kennels-- a full disclosure website. You see what you get: refundable deposits, mother and father are on premises, price of your puppy, full health warranty, etc. I was fortunate to meet my puppy's parents a month before I picked him up. I was able to see what beautiful, well balanced dogs they are. The kennels are part of their house and immaculately clean. All adults have easy flap access to a huge backyard. Another thing that sets Vom Weiland Kennels apart is their YouTube channel. I was able to see videos of my puppy every week from one week of age up until four days before I picked him up.
We picked up Bruno 10 days ago. My husband and I are totally amazed at his relaxed, self-possessed demeanor. He bonded to us and our two male cats immediately. The socialization Sandra has given these puppies really shows. From the very first night he has slept in his kennel with no whining, barking or accidents. We are introducing people and children to Bruno every chance we get and he is delighted with the company. He seeks human interaction yet can entertain himself. He is a VERY fast learner. Within a few days he knew his name and "no". Within a week he alerts to go outside, can sit, come, leave it and no bite on command. "Down" is coming. He is beautiful, easy to live with and VERY intelligent. A perfect dog! I highly recommend Vom Weiland Kennels for all discerning potential owners of large breed GSDs!
I cannot say enough good things about Sandra. I wanted a German Shepherd puppy from a reputable breeder to help reduce the risk of some problems that German Shepherds have, but I also needed a reasonable price and Sandra gave me both, plus the most wonderful puppy I could have asked for. I was able to meet the parents at her home, who are beautiful and have such great ,dispositions, especially Alan. Sandra was also a wealth of knowledge and is more than willing to share her knowledge, she attends seminars at NCSU to keep up to date with German Shepherd health and fitness and even showed me the vet records she has of her breeding dogs to prove they are in excellent health. She loves her dogs and loves her puppies as well, and it's obvious she has spent a lot of time working with the puppies, mine was even paper trained when we brought her home. Our puppy is so lovable and is very social, plus is extremely intelligent, at two months old she learned to sit in just a couple of 5 minute sessions. I can't say enough good things about Sandra, her breeding program or her puppies, if you chose a puppy from Sandra you won't be sorry.
Sandra was both professional and honest about her dogs, what she does for them and her concern after they go to their forever home. Any question I had, through out the wait time (my puppy was born Feb.12, 2017) Sandra answered all of my questions, any concern I had and made sure that I was kept up to date with any and all progress the momma was making through her pregnancy and then how the puppies were doing. The videos that she post kept me involved in all of the puppies....something that not every breeder does. Ruger came home with me 8 weeks later, and she is the best puppy, is already create trained, and has figured out how to tell me she needs to go potty. Please contact Sandra if you want an exceptional dog to share your life with
Comprehensive portfolio is just one of many amazing features I encountered in working with Sandra and Paul Weiland. Containing our puppy's parental lineage, immunization chart and registration. Weekly you tube videos with all the puppy's interaction with their siblings to aid you in choosing the pup of your choice. Expansive/inclusive easy to read and understand contract. The ability to withdraw your deposit for whatever reason, no questions asked. With many more features, too many to write about I just recommend anyone looking for superb well cared for puppy from a true professional who knows her craft. I recommend Sandra and Paul Weiland, Vom Weiland kennel in Bath, NC. The knowledge and care Sandra give her adult shepherds, expecting mothers and her puppies are phenomenal. Once I discovered the vomWeiland kennel GSD puppies for sale in NC I was convinced that my search had ended there. From the moment I provided my deposit the constant updates from birth until I pick up my pup was unreal I recommend this breeder over any other. I have had my boy Von from the "P" litter only 5 days and thus far he has exceeded all my expectations most importantly potty training. Not one mishap. I will continue to update his progress as well as post some pictures. Thank you Sandra and Paul for this flawless experience. Already discussing adding another one of your pups to our GSD family.
If you are looking for an experienced meticulous breeder who genuinely loves their German Sheppard puppies then Sandra and Paul VomWeiland in Bath NC is where you need to look. I have only known them for a short time and they are now my friends. I was lucky to get the pick of the O-litter, a male that I named Jim who will no doubt be the mirror image of his dad Bear. Sandra cares for their litter of puppies like no other in the business. Her dedication and attention to detail is just incredible. She literally lives in close proximity with each litter carefully watching them and nurturing them healthier each day. She makes baby books for each puppy outlining their progress each day complete with paw prints! I am so pleased with our new family member and knowing the Czech pedigree parents that he is the off spring of which is Alan Schrom and Ebigell. They are a one stop shop, AKC tattoo and microchip for me. Oh, did I mention that my little man was pretty much house broken when got him? Thank you Sandra and Paul.
I have had GSD's in the past and had basically given up on finding a sound pup in mind AND body again. I decided to give it one more chance and found Sandra Weiland. I could not have found any one better for me. Her knowledge in the breed itself, her lines, their health, and her way of bringing up puppies until their new people came for them was more than I could have asked for in a breeder. I appreciated the updates we received as the puppies grew. Absolutely adored the videos we received. I was lucky enough to live in the same state (NC). I was able to go visit and actually pick out my pup in person. Her set up, I am sure, would make other breeders jealous. It was also very nice to see the parents, seeing how stable and fun to be around THEY were as much as the puppies. I can not give a more glowing review for this woman and her dogs. I am so looking forward in staying in contact with Mrs. Weiland, letting her know how the pup is doing and the pup's hopeful accomplishments.
From the first time I spoke with Sandra, I
Knew we needed to get on the list for one of her puppies. She is so Knowledgeable about the breed & is willing to share all
of that knowledge with you. You can also see the time, love, and hard work she puts into getting these puppies ready for their new homes.
We have only had Chloe for 4 days, but she is already such a special part of our family. She has learned to walk on a leash with our older dog, sit, lay down, and fetch a ball (and bring it back and let it go so you can throw it again) I am always afraid to overload her but you can tell she is eager to learn as she keeps happily coming back for more. She has a very sweet and affectionate disposition and is awesome with my 2 and 5 year old. She has willingly gone in her crate each night without a fuss and has slept through the night. Most surprisingly to me, Chloe hasn't had an accidents in the house. She goes straight to the paper when she has to potty and I immediately take her out. This is something Sandra started.
Our vet asked for Sandra's contact information as she was so impressed with Chloe's appearance and disposition. If you are in the market for a GSD, Vom Weiland German Shepherds will not disappoint. We feel so lucky to have Chloe as a member of the family
Sandra is one of the sweetest people I have met, she really helped me through the grieving process when we lost our GSD. Additionally she keeps abreast of developments in GSD breeding and is quite willing to share her knowledge with you. I cannot stress enough that she really cares about doing things in the best way possible when it comes to her dogs and their puppies. You can place your complete trust in her. I spent time searching for breeders and once I spoke with Sandra I knew I had found the one I wanted to work with. Our female puppy is 4 mo old now, gorgeous, remarkably intelligent (even for a GSD!) and of sound temperament. The dam and sire are both on site and are beautiful dogs. I can't imagine getting a dog elsewhere now.
We recently received our 2nd GSD from Sandra and once again, she has exceeded all of our expectations. Since our first experience about 3 years ago was so positive, we knew we would be looking no where else for our next pup. Max has been a wonderful addition to our family. His intelligence, training aptitude, protectiveness and just overall awesomeness could not be better. Once again our vet was supremely surprised by the thoroughness of Max's puppy book which gave a day by day account of the first 8-9 weeks of his life. I find this to be standard with Sandra but evidently not many breeders take the time or care enough to do it. One thing is for sure, Sandra loves her pups and it certainly shows in the end result. We gave this review 5 stars but that is only because 10 wasn't an option. If you are considering getting a GSD from VomWeiland, you can proceed with the utmost confidence that you will get getting a superior pup and will be doing business with a top quality person as well!
I received a male puppy from Sandra in May 2015 out of the "K" litter. I have waited until he is about 16 weeks old to write a review because I wanted to write one about the dog's temperament and personality. At this age, you have a very good idea of what you are dealing with. My boy is large, strong, smart, and healthy. He has no fears and loves everyone. He loves car rides and new adventures. Walks very well on a leash, knows many commands such as; sit, down, shake, stay, speak, come, drop...these were easy to teach and quick to learn.. He was also potty trained in two weeks and has not had one accident since. He bonded with the family in a short period of time, loves my two small children, loves to play and run around with my 1 year old GSD. He just wants to be with the family even if that means no one is giving him attention. Every time I take him somewhere, people comment on how handsome he is and well behaved. Sandra did very good job socializing and introducing the pups to many different things. She is very detail oriented, provides good, accurate information documenting the early life of the pup and provides a nice binder that goes with the pup containing the pup's records. I believe her breeding knowledge, techniques, and overall program are superior to any other breeder I've encountered. Thank you Sandra for providing such a good boy to this family.
VomWeiland German Shepherds is FANTASTIC!! Sandra is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is very knowledgeable about the GSD breed. From the first contact with her, you can tell how passionate she is about her dogs. The excellent prenatal care that is given has proven to be a key component of the wonderful puppies they produce. We could not have asked for a better breeder. She walks you through every detail with weekly pictures and videos of the litter and details about each puppy so that you can make an informative choice on your puppy. When we picked up our puppy, he was already learning to sit, down, & heel. He has been very fast to pick up on his new family's routine. Any questions we have had, she has been quick to respond with advice and tips. If you are looking for a GSD, you CANNOT go wrong in choosing VomWeiland German Shepherds.

I was really impressed from the moment I started speaking with Sandra from VomWeiland . Once the litter was born, she did not skip a beat with letting us know the day-to-day progress of the pups. Our puppy is doing the things that she was expecting him to at this age. He already alerts us when he needs to go out as well as look at his food and water bowls when he is ready to eat. He learned the sit, stay and lie commands in no time. I could go on and on. If you are looking for a top of the line German Shepard bred by top of the line breeders, I suggest you check out VomWeiland GSD puppies NC.
I cannot imagine ever finding anyone who loves what they do more than Vomweiland German Shepherds. From the moment you are in contact with Sandra you immediately know you are working with someone who has the knowledge and experience that you would want in a breeder. She walks you through the entire process step by step all the way to the end and even after. We received picture and videos weekly. When the time came to pick up our pup she invited us into her kennel. Everything was organized and tidy. The the that strikes you is the cleanliness. The next thing you notice is how happy the puppies are. Along with her other dogs. Her puppies are friendly socialized and are a joy to watch. Not only are they happy but they are loved. She pours every o ce of energy into her dogs. The results are nothing short of spectacular. They love her right on back. Our puppy was friendly and a pleasure to take home on our 6 hour drive home. I know it was because Sandra has used many techniques to have the ready for anything. Our pup came with meticulous notes for every week he was there. We also were offered the microchip along with a puppy tattoo to identify his pedigree and his Id number in case he got lost. This was an emotional experience for us. One that we will remember forever. Thank you Vomweiland for give us such a precious pup. We love him and he is perfect for our family.
I have to tell you that twice now I had a deposit down with Sandra for a female puppy and twice she has returned the $ without hesitation -- once because I had bought another dog from someone else (BIG MISTAKE! The dog I bought has tested positive for DM and the breeder couldn't have cared less! Stay clear of Baysden Shepherds! Their "health guarantee" is a joke!) and once because one of her dogs had an all male litter. I have come to know Sandra somewhat through our dealings and am impressed with her a lot. I like her in depth knowledge of the GSD breed, her honesty, and her willingness to communicate. I can tell that she really cares about her dogs and furthermore get the very real sense that she would back her puppies unconditionally as far as health and temperament go. That is a LOT more than I can say for ANY other GSD breeder I have ever come in contact with. I will be getting my next GSD from VomWeiland! No question about it. Thanks for everything Sandra. ;) Charlie S.
I've worked with Sandra for a number of years and have been impressed with her care and dedication to her animals. Recently, I have been doubly impressed as I watched her care for, educate and socialize the pups of her last litter. She is an excellent, reputable and dedicated breeder of quality German Shepherd Dogs that are well-positioned to excel in sport and show, but also make fabulous companions. Scott B
Our sincere thanks & appreciation to Sandra for her dedication to this outstanding line of German Shepherds. We are impressed daily with our pups intelligence. The second day home we started clicker training and he is progressing amazingly! Sandra is a wealth of knowledge and we would highly recommend VomWeiland German Shepherd puppies. Andy P.
I lost my female 2 years ago. That broke my heart. My younger male has missed having a companion as well. So, I decided to get another. It is very unfortunate that the show lines of GSD have created such sloped backs, that is has caused so many hip and back problems. I searched for several months looking for breeders with lines that were not so sloped. Then I found Sandra. Great Slovakian lines and gorgeous dogs. Well, I picked up my new female puppy yesterday. Such a sweetheart. I live in FL and the ride home was so easy with her. No accidents in the car either. Sandra spends a lot of time with the puppies, including loud noise conditioning and nail trimming. If you are looking for good, solid working dog line, Sandra has some of the best I have seen. Looking forward to many years with this little girl. Thanks Sandra.
