Stopped in on 7/6/15 after calling to sell them my newer xbox 360 console. On the phone they said they pay about $40. This is an almost new system with the touch button and 250gb. When I got there he looked on the computer and tried to tell me this model came with a kinnect and they wouldn't want it without the kinnect. Thing is I bought this directly from microsoft brand new in a bundle pack and have the original receipt. So no this model did not come with a kinnect. So after wasting a trip in to there I just went over to Game Players Unlimited in the Value plaza and she bought the system no questions asked. I'll be going there from now on for all my gaming stuff.
AWFUL that I even had to give a star!!!! Today 6/16/15 at around 2PM my husband & I stopped in to do business. Upon our entrance we noticed the employee shaking his head in anger and out of his mouth came this word for word in a nasty tone of voice, "Geeshhh I haven't even had a lunch and all these customers keep coming in". My husband replied, " I'll come back after your lunch" he then replied with such disrespect in saying F%*# IT!!! To our surprise we then said we'll gladly take our business elsewhere. Then it gets even worse as he tells us, " F%*# YOU!!!! I demanded to speak with a manager and he said he was. NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE!!!!!!
Terrible.. Just lost about $600 worth of gear because they sold it.. I had tried to retrieve my stuff one day before the loan was due and they were not in the store.. A sign hanging on the door says to return at a later time..
I called several times over the next few days and could not connect with anyone at the store.. when I finally did get someone to answer they called me a liar.. They claimed they had not closed the store.. Eventually they said that the sign was used when they &quot;Needed to run to Walmart or whatever&quot;
They refused to offer me any compensation.. they sold my stuff and refused to even attempt to make it right.. They hung up on me three times while I was attempting to find a acceptable resolution..
Instead of apologizing or even trying to explain how this travesty happened in the first place they instead called me a liar.. Only to later admit to the sign and saying, &quot;If the merchandise was important to me I should have come back later&quot; I told them I tried to contact them to ensure someone would be there and no one answered the phone..
I tried many times to contact them over the phone and twice in person.. It took me 6 days to finally reach someone and it was at another location.. I finally spoke to someone standing next to the owner.. This person acted as a go between and relayed my story to the owner.. the owner tried calling the store and they answered.. I had tried three times 20 minutes earlier and no answer for me.. The owner tells me to call the store now and they will answer.. I do and the person starts right off calling me a Liar..
I cannot state enough how upset this has made me.. I tried to retrieve my merchandise... I even took less of out on the loan to ensure I could retrieve this item.. they offered me $185 I only took $100..
When I finally spoke to the person who had done the deal with me at the start of this nightmare she also called me a Liar.. It seems that is just the way they treat customers... Its all nice and smiles until you miss that due date.. Even if you didn't miss the due date.. They expect you to work to get your stuff back.. If its important.. you can wait around for a unspecified amount of time while we go shopping at the local walmart...
