Should have read all the negative reviews first! I took my truck in and they told me $2200.00 to rebuild my transmission and I could expect it in a week. I agreed and that was a huge mistake. I rented a car for what I thought would be a week. They kept coming up with excuses and took well over a month to finish my truck. That was only one problem. I had to leave out of town for work and my truck still wasn't ready. Finally they finished my truck and gave me a bill nearly double. $3800.00 plus over a month of Rental car. I will make a point to let everybody I know about the tricks and deception I was put thru. Please don't get ripped off the way I did.

First time writing a review but this time I just have to. I have taken two cars to Andres. Everything from inspections to alignments to valve springs. This last issue was with a clutch master cylinder. They had the car for three weeks and still had not finished the work. Finally after several visits they replaced the part. When I drove the car home the leaky cylinder was not leaking but the clutch pedal was going to the floor and not working. The response from Andres was to pump the pedal as perhaps there was still air in the line. A week or so later I nursed the car back to Andres at night when there isn't traffic as the car would still not shift. Got it back two weeks later. Same story. My guess is from looking at the part is that they did nothing. After having it setup for them to pick the car up as it was really not driveable. Four weeks later still no pick up. I finally gave up on them and did it myself. Car works fine now. Should've just done it myself the first time. Don't count on Andres to get it done right at a fair price and in a timely manner. I don't take my cars there anymore after this episode. Really disappointed.

Andre's is a busy shop because they do good work! They are honest, and they fix things right rather than patching and rigging repairs. They may not always tell you what you want to hear, but they'll tell you what you need to hear and need to do to keep your vehicles safe and performing optimally. It took me 20 years to find a repair facility in the Austin area that would not talk down to me or take advantage of me because I am a woman walking into an automotive repair facility. They are serious about their work which requires customers to be the same. I can't think of any other place I would take my vehicles, trailers or tractors!
