Elmore Park Middle School, also known as EPMS, is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 600 students in grades six through eight. Founded in 1993, its academic curriculum includes math, science, language arts and social studies. The school also offers special education classes and guidance counseling services. Elmore Park Middle School operates photography, art, yearbook, literary and beta clubs, as well as a student council. In addition, it provides accelerated reader programs and organizes basketball tournaments. The school conducts various extracurricular activities that include drama and choir. Elmore Park Middle School also has a parent-teacher association. It is a part of Shelby County Schools, which operates elementary, middle and high schools.
