Bangor High School, located in Bangor, Maine, enrolls more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. It offers various academic programs in English, science, mathematics and social studies. It offers advanced classes in sculpture, printmaking, graphic and fabric design, drawing and painting. The interscholastic sports for boys and girls include cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, cheerleading, swimming, hockey, basketball, track, tennis, softball, baseball and golf. It also has a band, chorus and orchestra and offers a school drama program. The school has facility of library and more than 10 computer labs. It also has a space observatory with telescope, and provides special education programs and accommodations for children with disabilities. Its international studies partnership gives training opportunities to its teachers on topics, such as Chinese literature and arts, African history and geography, and Chinese language.
