I've been a loyal Hyundai customer since 2009. I purchased a 2008 Tiburon, then traded that in for a lease on a 2013 Sonata, then traded that in for a lease on a 2015 Elantra, and am now leasing a 2017 Elantra. I love Hyundai vehicles. However, most of my interactions were with a local dealership when I lived outside the State of Maine. I loved that dealership and always had a great experience whenever I went in for sales or service. After moving to Maine, I naturally assumed I'd get the same great service I had come to expect from Hyundai. I went in to this dealership to TRADE IN my 2015 for the new 2017. Unfortunately, this dealership misrepresented my transaction to me and instead of trading in my 2015 they did an early end of lease. I went home with my new car and, much to my surprise, a month later got a bill in the mail. The bill was for the minor wear and tear on my old car. If I had done a trade in I wouldn't be responsible for that wear and tear. The previous dealership I had been dealing with outside the State of Maine was always direct and honest. To bad I can't say the same for this Hyundai dealership. They obviously don't care about customer loyalty. I won't ever go back to this dealership again.
Don't buy from here. This is a shady business and Richard Kelley is a shady person. Bought a car and had to put $2000 into it within the first 6 weeks of owning it to pass inspection elsewhere. Avoid this place if you want to avoid a headache and feeling taken advantage of.

When I called, the agent that answered the phone was rude. I told him I had bought a car from them when they were at their old griffin rd location. He said it had to be more than 7 years since I've bought a car since they moved 7 years ago. I was about to say "really??" and he cut me off and said "yeah, we moved SEVEN YEARS AGO" like I'm some stupid person. I was about to tell him to shove it, but instead told him that I wasn't in the mood for sarcasm or rudeness. Then his whole tone changed. I won't buy a car from someone that treats me like I'm stupid just because I'm not up to date on the movements of one single car dealership in a town I hardly know. THANKS cars by us...now I wish I hadn't bought my first car there.
first time and last buying from here.....got sold a car that is a giant paperweight .bad frame and head gasket...would cost more to fix then the car is worth. thanks for nothing.
These people are the most corrupt, thieving liars in the business. They will lie to you in every way possible about any car repairs. They stole more than a $1,000 from me in UNNEEDED REPAIRS, AND TRIED TO THREATEN AND INTIMIDATE ME. They took me to court, and when I confronted their sleazy lawyer about the information I gathered from reputable car dealers about my repairs, he turned tail and backed right down. They are a NIGHTMARE. DO NOT USE EVEN IF YOU ARE DESPERATE. Go to ANY OTHER CAR DEALER. Like the locals say, "It's always bad news at Quirks." Also, they DELETE all negative reviews on their website. Pond Scum.
Went to Van Syckle to buy a used car. They gave us a great price, so far below what KBB and NADA priced it at. It was the best deal we could find, and we were searching all around the northeast. We just didn't realize that this little gem of a car dealership was right in Bangor. Their sales staff was excellent, treating us extremely well without the entire sales shpeal, and they made sure we were extremely happy even after we bought the car.
Services is terrible and all the cars are unsafe. Stay away.
