Horrible daycare! All they care about is the money. They honestly could care less about your child or you! If I could rate zero stars I would have! The owner's husband is there watching the children during the day and has no certifications. The owner, Pam doesn't show up until late in the afternoon!
I really wanted to put -5 stars but this site makes you put stars so that's why I put one. But PLEASE I'm begging you all don't send your children here. Just as the previous mother said in the first review this daycare is money hungry and does not turn on the heat in the winter. Trust me I WORK THERE and I am currently searching for a more professional facility. The daycare doesn't even provide warm water for the children to wash their hands in they wash them in ice cold water! Not to mention they don't provide them with soap, they take dish washing liquid, add some water and shake it up in a pump and that will be their soap. Just horrible. I have no problem with telling the truth. I've been working there for almost 6 months now and within the first week of working there I wanted to quit because it was so unprofessional but the owner begged me to stay. I also took a 9 hour communication class with her which costed me $60 and I never got my certificate for the class! When I ask her about it she makes a million excuses on why I don't have it yet. Money hungry? You bet she it. Really took my money and never gave me my certificate and this has been months now. The owner is barely EVER THERE she only comes at the end of the day so she can "look" busy bus she's never really there. Her husband is there all the time supervising the children but he has 0 (zero) child care certifications. That's right. She also has a "director" there to supervise us but she's LEGALLY BLIND so she can barely see. And guess what? The legally blind lady is the one who supervises the infants. Have I said enough? Please please don't do this to your children and I'm so sorry for the woman who has brought her infant here the first time and I'm so glad she took him out before more worse things happened.

If you love your child, do NOT send them here. They have failed numerous aspects of their licensing visits through the MSDE --- look for yourself by search “MSDE Compliance Reports” on Google and type in their Belair Road address, leaving out the name of the day care provider and only filling out the street address, city, and zip code. They’ve FAILED: insufficient staff to child ratio also known as “capacity” and “group size and staffing” (meaning too many kids to not enough staff), proper rest furnishings, their infant and young child area is always extremely cold, they’ve placed dangerous space heaters around these rooms in the winter, and their fees are excessive for their lack of staff and poor care!
I recall once dropping him off and the infant area was freezing and they said it was because they turn the heat off on the weekends and it was Monday morning and they JUST got there, so they asked me to leave my tiny son in his snow suit INSIDE. This is NOT acceptable, especially when I’m arriving thirty minutes after your day care opens. You are accountable for having your daycare prepared for when my son and other children arrive!
Then, on another occasion, they opened up the center late due to snow, and I arrived shortly after they said the center would be open, only to find that I was the only person there and they hadn’t even arrived yet to open the center. In fact, they hadn’t even shoveled the walk way to get INTO the center so I nearly fell down the steps with my infant son trying to enter the center after calling them for over fifteen minutes asking where they were. After all of this mess, I commute an hour to work only to JUST arrive at work after already being late due to their late opening, and they call me to come BACK and pick him up because he’s “the only infant they have” so they “need to use their staff coverage in other areas”. I was furious! Why should I have to jeopardize my job because you can’t manage your business? And, quite frankly, my son was the FIRST child there. So not only did I have to run all the way BACK to the daycare and miss work, but when I questioned them about having that day refunded the owner argued, “Well, we still have bills to pay whether he’s here or not.” Well, he was SUPPOSED to be there, but you told me you didn’t have anyone to watch him. How ridiculously unprofessional!
Oh, and not to mention they don’t take cash or checks as form of payment for daycare --- money orders only. I imagine this is so you can't stop payment on their endangering and negligent child care ""practices"". How convenient…
I pulled my not even four-month old son from their care after I came to pick him up one day and they returned six of his eight four-oz bottles to me completely full. My son was literally starving because they weren’t feeding him! I repeat, DO NOT go to this money-hungry child care that will simply take your money and care NOTHING for your child. Would you trust your child to someone who let another woman’s tiny infant starve? I think not. And, I still shudder to think that I ever mistakenly put my son through all of that because I wasn’t well-informed. Please learn from my bad experience and don’t allow you and, especially, your child to ever endure their carelessness.
