Today, Marquise A., a Sears technician,came to our home to fix our dishwasher. I am disappointed with Sears as a company because the first technician who came misdiagnosed our dishwasher's problem, thereby causing an unnecessary delay of over a week and substantial inconvenience to our family. The first technician also unnecessarily diagnosed that we needed a new drain pump at a cost of $300, which ultimately, according to Marquise A., was not the problem at all. (We are still waiting on a refund for ordering this unnecessary part. Additonally, Sears made yet another mistake and I received in the mail Thursday yet a second drain pump. I really hope this does not delay our refund as this was a mistake on Sears' end, not ours.The second drain pump arrived with no return slip, so I do not even have a way to return it..) However, I cannot say enough good things about Marquise A, our second technician. He stayed with the appliance for an extended time in order to diagnose the problem, of which the first technician had seriously run afoul. Marquise was exceedingly pleasant, persevering through a grueling couple of hours to fix our appliance. I really hope that he receives the proper acknowledgment for going far and beyond my expectations. Our dishwasher seems to running very efficiently now, and Marquise A was an absolutely kind, pleasant, and professional technician. Moreover, the experience was quite stressful for him, but he remained calm and pleasant for the entire time.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and fixed my range from top to bottom. He made sure everything was working properly since it hadn't been set right when we bought it. He was very pleasant, friendly, and thorough. I am glad I have service contracts on my appliances so I can use Sears Service whenever needed. He was a 10 out of 10!!
Sear sucks! I'll never buy another thing from Sears. Customer service is pathetic. The central air unit I purchased last June(2015) is a lemon. It has been basically been re-made twice. Thankfully, I bought the master protection plan because I needed it immediately. Never again!
I wish I could give Sears 0 stars because they do not deserve even 1 star! My second time taking a day off from work to wait for repair person to fix my washing machine. Service was terrible, awful horrible. This time the so called supervisor and a trainee came. No apology for my inconvenience, blamed me for signing off on the first visit! Single ladies BEWARE this is a sears scam. When I suggested that a return visit should be made within a 24 - 48 hr window, the supervisor said I insulted him and he packed up and left without fixing the machine. I guess he was making a point to the trainee. SOME EXAMPLE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. PORR, POOR, POOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a contract with Sears to fix my Samsung machine. It took 5 visits, 1 no-show, one full month, and over 35 hours of waiting for the machine to be fixed. Service reps were not helpful, techs were courteous and clean and they did finally fix the machine,so I give them 1 star.
I had an appointment for 10 am to 2 pm. I started getting notices around noon that I could expect service between 2:45 and 4:45. It then varied thru the afternoon but eventually they came at 3:20 after the serviceman called me at 2:15 saying he would be there in 20-25 minutes. When they finally arrived, they were very professional and fixed my washer. I do not understand why they even make appointments when they pay no attention to the time.

Promised they would TRY. Service personnel came at 4 PM in the AFTERNOON. Fixed washer but only gave me a 20% discount for being LATE. Service personnel was professional and polite...just wish they had CALLED and kept me aware of the time of arrival.
Lost an entire of work - PLUS A VERY LARGE REPAIR BILL. Phone person was very unsympathetic - no compassion. Bordering on rude....BUT tried to sell me an insurance package! Can't be on time but can sell you an insurance package???? Really????
