OWL NOT BOW WOW, I took my dog there to be groomed. when I picked him up he had opened wounds on him between 30 to 40 and also had fleas on him, I said something to Ms. Marge the owner she told me that he fought her. and to get out. .Well I would fight to if some one was cutting me!! NEVER AGAIN will I go there or tell any one about her. Ms. Marge is not a very nice person the language she used sounded like a sailor.

If I could, I would give this lady a zero star rating. It was just that bad..
As soon as she saw my dog when I dropped him off in the morning, she started complaining that my dog was matted and immediately accused me of not brushing him. I defended myself and explained that his paws gets matted because he is always nibbling on them for whatever reason when he's in his crate. Then she asked me what type of brush I used and asked me to show her which type that I use. Then she told me I bathed him too much, but I disagree. Right then and there, I almost left, but I was so desperate to have his hair cut. When I handed my dog over to her, he started crying and whining, which he never does with new people. I should've taken this as a warning sign..
I went to pick up my dog and right away the lady started saying, there's no wonder your dog doesn't let you brush him because he bites. I was confused and defended my dog because he doesn't bite. He may if you hurt him or by accident when playing rough, but NEVER has he bitten some one or have I gotten complaints from other groomers that he bites.
Before she even went to get my dog I could hear him in the back crying like he needed help (like he does when he needs to go in the middle of the night).
Again, she lectured me on brushing my dog and his mats for a good 5 minutes and finally I just asked her how much I owed her. I had to ask her multiple times how much I owed her, I guess she is hard of hearing. She told me 44 because he was such a mess. Whatever, that is reasonable. Anyway, I gave her the money and she kept lecturing and saying that she's been grooming for 40 years.
I thanked her, and she mumbled something under her breath that I think was, ""don't ever bring your dog her again"", and in reply I may have said some curse words, but she deserved it for being RUDE and absolutely unacceptable and mean to my dog.
My dog was cowering and shaking when we got into the car. And then I noticed he had cuts on his chest and behind his ear from the razor. No wonder he bit her because she cut him!
This lady needs to be shut down!

I would not recommend Bow Wow Clippery to anyone. It use to be a great place, until today I recieved the worse service ever.Marge the owner seems to be not so friendly anymore very poor customer service. She left a message on my voicemail telling me my dog was ready for pickup and it also caught her calling my dog by name and telling him to shut up.Well I kept the peace and went to pick my dog up ,when I arrived she cursed at me and told me to drop my dog off on time ,excuse me she told me to come at 9:30am I went at 9:20 am.I paid her and again she cursed at me this time I read her rights and assured her I would never return or recommend her every again ,she replied shove it up your ***.To say the least she has no customer service and needs to retire .

I new to pet ownership. Actually, I became a pet mom because I'd ""picked-up"" a dog for a friend that was out-of-town at the time the adoption of ""his"" dog came through. Turned out that after my friend's return, he was unable to take/keep the dog, so I then wound up keeping the dog and since I was going to at least have to keep the dog for a while, I wanted to make sure that it saw a vet and got a much needed hair cut. So, I began searching of a groomer that could give him a cut the same day I called. I found Bow Wow. And although after I actually entered my first instinct was to turn around and leave, I didn't. The day I took my dog, there was another person leaving the ""shop"" with her pet. I spoke with her and she said she'd been using Bow Wow for some time and was happy with the services.
As I first said, I didn't like what I saw when I entered, going on what the previous customer had said, I went ahead with getting my dog groomed.
The waiting room was very tiny and not well kept. You could tell that it once was a cute little shop, but that really must have been some years ago.
When the owner came out, my dog did not act afraid of her and she petted him and they seemed cool together so I went ahead with the grooming. She took him through a tiny little door and promised me a new dog when I returned.
When I went back for him, he looked beautiful, but was more than eager, to say the least, to get out of there. I could hardly hold him long enogh to pay her. He actually bolted for the door. And even though he looked good, and smelled clean, he also smelled of smoke ... lots of it.
I should have known ... theowner sort of looked like Bette Davis in the movie Whatever Happened to Baby Jane ... lol
Anyway, although she was reasonably priced and did a good grooming job, I don't think I'll be going back. Call me fickle, but I'd rather pay a little more for a little more whistles and bells and a place that looks and is kept more clean and up to date.
I have since adopted another, and much younger dog and I cannot afford the mishap that she should catch something that she has yet to be protected against. So my search goes on, because as with my first dog, she is uber hairy and needs grooming way moreso that even my first dog did.

I called to get information about their services. I was put on hold and spoke with Marge. In the middle of a question,Marge hung up on me. I called back and was told they couldn't tell me about the services they offer and was hung up on a second time. Not a place where they take care of customers.
