A nightmare. In only one visit, I've had two of my sport coats badly altered at Fells Point Cleaners, so I had to pay again elsewhere to have them fixed. They damaged one of the suits I dry cleaned by managing to make a hole in it, ruined a Zegna suede leather jacket, which had supple leather before they supposedly cleaned it, turning the leather so stiff, the jacket is now unwearable. On top of that, they would not recognize any of their mistakes and refused to compensate me. Hell, they even refused to give my money back! This is highway robbery at its worst!
UNACCOUNTABLE!Nifty's RUINED my brand new black and white suit...didn't say a word about it....and made me pay for the cleaning!! I didn't notice it was ruined until weeks later. It was black with white piping that is now a nasty gray with red faded streaks. I spoke to who is supposed to be the manager and was told to contact the manufacturer bc the colors faded. It wasn't their fault. No accountability! COWARDS!!! I will NEVER put anything in this cleaner! I was never offered an apology or any type of remedy or reimbursement for them ruling in my $100 suit!! I'm livid!
I am always amazed at the customer service at this place. My suits are always perfectly cleaned and pressed. My alterations are always perfect. If you are looking for a professional and experienced person then go ser this lady.

Check it yo. So I had to drop off my 2 piece suit for my boy Big Buffalo's funeral (RIP my angel), so I figured I'd try them out, right? So I went there on Wednesday - Ms. Swan behind the counter was like, "it be ready 5pm Fri"... So I was like "that's hot, yo"..So I went to pick it up and I swear on my nephew Lil' Pepper that they jacked up my cleaning. There was a piece of lettuce in my pocket. LETTUCE, yo!So I went to my boys service as a fabric salad. I miss him. Don't dry clean here!! That's my warning and ill let you have a good day
I love using Mt. Vernon Cleaners. The cusotmer service is amazing and so is the quality of the work. I would recommend this cleaner over the others in the area.
If great service and excellent prices is what you are looking for then this is where you need to go. The owner is always there and does awesome work with my dry cleaning and alterations. She does very nice alterations and repairs on all of my scrubs and also has very nice daily specials. I recomend this place to everybody that I work with and all of my close friends.
