I still can't believe what happened today with this dentist. My son was nervous about having his molars sealed but staff talked him into coming back alone. I specifically said if he got upset to let me know and I would come back. 10 minutes later I hear my son screaming. I hauled it back there and asked why I wasn't informed he was upset. Dr Ahmed asked me what my presences would have done to change the medical procedure. I. Was. Shocked. I asked her if she had any children of her own and she obviously answered no. No parent in their right mind would ask such an asinine question. You do not tell a parent of a scared child that they are not allowed next to them when they are crying and saying they feel like they are suffocating. Not if you really expect people to use you. I now have the pleasure of trying to repair a broken 7 year olds fear of the dentist. And quickly since they didn't finish both sides of his mouth. I am furious, offended, and shocked that such a person can be in the medical field.
