Beware of having your Bernina repaired here. Test the machine before you leave the store. I brought mine in for a common machine problem, was told it was fixed, paid a very high price for the repair, only to find that it still had the same problem. No change whatsoever. I live an hour away from this store but it is the closest store to me that is authorized to repair Berninas. Now I have to make the trip twice again- once to drop it off and again to pick it up. This time I'll test it before I leave.

This shop always has friendly, helpful staff and lots of fabric to choose from. The fabric prices are also a bit lower than I've seen at some other quilt shops and it's high quality fabric. The only downside is that it's a bit far for me to go, but I love it so much that I make the extra effort when I plan a new project.

I don't think these other people have even been in this shop. The owner is not only friendly, but is very helpful and is excellent with Math. The rest of the staff goes out of their way to do everything possible to help also. The fabric selection is just terrific. Largest selection of batiks in the St Louis area. When it comes to novelty prints boy do they have a wonderful selection! Why don't you go by and be your own judge. I would not shop any where else.

AVOID THIS PLACE ! The owner and the technician, who supposedly ""fixes"" the machines, are both rude, condescending, and inept. Don' bother to bring your sewing machine here to get fixed because they'll take your money but won't solve the problem. The fabrics they sell are very overpriced as well. You can get the exact same fabrics at other area stores, such as Jackmann's, for better prices. The other employees are usually nice and try to be helpful, but what can you expect when the owner is so poor at customer service and the technician tries to blame you for the machine's problems instead of admitting that she doesn't know what she's doing. They deserve NO STARS but this review format requires at least one star be checked. On the most recent repair job that they're handling (they sent my machine to Bernina because they've ""fixed"" it so many times but it keeps having the exact same problem), the store owner told me that she has, ""no clue,"" if it has been checked yet or what is wrong with it or when a diagnosis will be provided, and she doesn't even know how to contact them since that is all handled by her one and only technician, who was not at work that day. That's not what a customer wants to hear after having left my machine there over two weeks ago with no response from them yet! Then she said that the people at Bernina who fix the machines, ""just don't care,"" if the customer is waiting to find out what is wrong with the machine and when it will be fixed and how much it will cost! With that attitude, they don't deserve anybody's business! After giving them MANY chances to fix my machine over the last 10 years, I WON""T BE GOING BACK! There are plenty of other shops in town that must surely provide better service and attitude. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION!

This is absolutely my favorite quilt shop on both sides of the Missouri river. I have known Pam and the gang for 20 years and the service is excellent! I have made numerous quilts. I ask their advice on color, stitching, piecing, etc. I have always been happy! Go see the shop, and watch how welcome you feel. Check out the fabric selection and feel your creative mind move!

The owner Pam was nice but she was given a job and there was an incorrect fact provided and it was OBVISOULY incorrect and she put it on the quilt INCORRECT! She had my number but didn't call to confirm. In her explanation to me she said, ""It's a job and I input what I was given and saw, therefore I didn't question it was incorrect. Someone else noticed it after the job was complete. No sorry, no what can I do SINCE I didn't call to confirm, but I just want the money. I had to offer a soultion for the problem and then she agreed to the quick fix but I was told it may not be ready when needed. If not ready when needed, then I can't use the piece at all. Not how I thought she would have handled at all, she seemed very overwealmed based on the other jobs she needed to complete at the time.
I WOULD NOT reccommend at all go to a Professional! Just becasue you have a shop doesn't mean you deliever the service you should!
