The Hairy Elephant changes the way parents feel about haircut day. Haircuts become less of a chore and more of a fun outing. Our highly trained stylists and kid-centric environment are the reasons why. Children are put at ease from the moment they walk in the door. Their appointment starts with a visit to Harry, the shampooing elephant. For their haircut, they can select from a Jeep, sports car, airplane or traditional salon chair. Each station is equipped with movie DVDs and some with video games to help pass the time. They can even keep their same stylist, visit after visit. Our staff has undergone special needs training with autism advocacy groups. if you have a special needs child, ask us about the many steps we go through to ensure your child has a pleasant experience. Our staff is also trained to work with curly hair of all types. Celebrate a birthday or any special occasion and guests will be treated to manicures, make-up application, party style, milkshake pedicures and much more.
