I went to get a trim from Libbey and she hacked my hair. I showed her three pictures of the style I had my previous stylist cut, which had a front, side and back shots so she could see what I was talking about. I asked her to cut it about chin length or a bit longer. It barely reached my chin. I wanted to keep the remnants of the permit is had gotten and expressed this to her and then she proceeded to blow my hair out straight. I asked her to at least leave the front dramatically longer than the back but she cut it short all the way around - it all looks he same length. It'seems not even close to what I wanted and it's too short to fix so now I have to wait for it to grow out. I will never go back to this place.

If there were 10 stars, it wouldn't be enough to rate Hair Color Xperts Salon and my stylist, Lora McCutchen! From the moment you walk in the door,you know it's ME time! The Salon itself is decorated in cool, calm colors that make you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. The staff is punctual and courteous to your needs, often knowing your name and who you are there to see, before you even say a word. Beverages are always offered upon your arrival. It's all about ME at HCXP. However, the BEST part of the salon is my stylist, Lora. Seriously, Lora comes out with a bright smile on her face every time. She genuinely embraces your time, wants and needs! She listens to you and will either do exactly as you ask or will offer her own suggestions. I, personally, love a stylist that will look at the shape of my face or understand my personality and be able to offer something exciting and new for me. Lora has done that time and time again for me and each time she has exceeded my high expectations! Lora is a down to earth, people person, who truly cares about making you feel special. When you leave Hair Color Xperts you do feel special and you look Fabulous! Kudos to Lora and HCXP!

I have been going to HCX in Ballwin, MO. for Aprox 4 yrs now. Erin Yeager is my Hair stylist there. My experiences with Erin have been nothing less than EXCELLENT ! She has consulted me on different styles as well as products to use for my hair. Erin as well as all of the staff have always taken the time with me to make sure that I am completely satisfiied with my visit. I have been to this salon three times. Two of the three were disasters... but the salon manager made sure to try to fix my hair. If ever i go back it will only to see Olga. She is the only person there who in my experience has done the best job on my hair ever! of all the salons i have gone to over the years she has been the best and i recommend her. Not so sure bout the rest of the staff here though!

I had such a horrible experience here! They have individual pricing consultants, which the receptionist did NOT tell me when I made my appointment. The first girl I went to did an absolutely horrible job on my hair, making it look like a gray dirty brown color. I called to have my hair redone and the girls working at the salon were rude and did not listen to what I as the customer wanted my hair to look like. When I told the hair consultants what was wrong with my hair they told me it would "look better in a week". WHO TELLS A CUSTOMER WHO IS UNHAPPY WITH THEIR HAIR, THEIR HAIR WILL LOOK BETTER IN A WEEK? I had a horrible experience at this salon and will NOT be returning. I do NOT recommend this salon to anyone!!
