About Search Results

YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

Everything is working fine now (ice machine). Crossing our fingers, since we know the Samsung refrigerators have a chronic problem. We were told to keep our warranty active for the life of the refrigerator, since it will probably happen periodically. ($500 a pop). It's not even 2 years old yet! But the repair man fixed it very quickly. (We had to wait about a month, or more, for three packages to arrive that contained the parts to be replaced. One was a great big box!)

The tech , right on time, very knowledgeable , checked out the Ac/heating , got it working it turns out the low voltage from the Sensi Thermostat wireless , was blowing the fuse. It's a brand new unit, gotta fix the glitches. I sell new cars, and believe me nothing is perfect. Minor adjustments and repairs, it happens. . I'm totally happy with the service. Sears is the best.

Repairman was cordial and punctual. Unfortunately his knowledege of dishwashers was about the same as mine. Not what I would expect from a "pro".Problem: Dishwasher would not drain. I did all the usual things: check for clogged oulet hose, impeller, garbage disposal hose, air gap assembly. All seemed clear; air could be blown through them.Repairman came out, did all those things again, and concluded the pump was bad. Two weeks, repairman reappears, installs pump. and same problem continues. A call to tech support said there had to be a blockage. More messing about and we found the slightest blockage at the air gap inlet. Let air pass but caused back pressure when pumping water. This caused pump to shut down. Rinsed airfap unit thoroughly and dishwasher ran fine.$200 to clear a line and unnecessarily install new pump. I would have hoped a pro would know that even a slight blockage would cause this problem, check it throughly, and know how to disassemble the air gap unit.Rookie mistakes. America in the new millennium, I suppose.

THE TECH WAS RUDE & HATEFUL TO SENIOR CITIZENS AND DISABLED. GUESS HE THOUGHT WE DIDN'T HAVE A BRAIN AND HE COULD GET US TO DO PART OF HIS JOB FOR HIM. PULLING OUT A REFRIGERATOR. OMG, IT WAS ON WHEELS. JUST ROLLED OUT. THEN WHEN I SAID, NOOOOOOO THAT IS YOUR JOB. HE THEN THREATENED ME WITH HIM CANCELING/ OR/ TELLING ME TO RESCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT, I HAD WAITED ON WITH NEW PARTS FOR 2 1/2 OR MORE WEEKS TO GET MY FRIG FIXED SINCE BEFORE THANKSGIVING. THIS WAS ON THE 7TH OF DEC. USUALLY SEARS IS FAIRLY GOOD BUT THIS TECH ALSO WORKS AT LOWE'S AND HOME DEPOT. BEWARE.

First, the service tech was absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable, pleasant, expedient. During my childhood, Sears was the most reputable and reliable company and my parents never went elsewhere. That being said, if I could have called for service to any company other than Sears, I would have. And here's why. The tech was just about finished when he "pitched" me about Sears Home Warranty Plan. From the information he gave, it sounded like a good plan. The best part was that if I wanted to cancel the contract at any time. Even after making just one month's payment and getting this initial bill reduced. The bell went off. I called the contract office with one question: is there a cancellation fee before the year is up? This woman had no knowledge about cancellations. She had to transfer me to the credit office where we again waited for about 20 minutes. During wait, the Tech called his boss with the same question. His firm belief was (per his boss) one could cancel at any time without penalty. Ha! So, here's the REAL story.Sign up, and for $59 a month ALL household appliances are covered. Garage doors, stoves, washer/dryers, microwaves, electrical outlets, toilets, anything that would need fixing Sears would pick up (in some cases, all) a large portion of the bill. HOWEVER: AND HERE IS THE "GOTCHA": IF you have had a repair, and, i.e., the repair was $500 for which Sears picked up $250, and you are cancelling prior to one year, you will have to reimburse Sears for any repair portion they had previously paid on your behalf during that year.. Repairing my 2009 purchased washer cost $150. IF I had signed up for the program, my cost would have dropped down to $125 (figures are approx.) and I would be billed for the first month of $59. 12 months of this program would be $708 PLUS HALF OF ANY REPAIR CHARGES I MIGHT HAVE.So, people, beware. The old adage: if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is NOT.

Technician showed up and informed me that he had to order the part for my dryer. The same part that I was told was necessary when I called to schedule a repair. We rescheduled for the following week. The part did not arrive and I had to reschedule again. It is irritating that I have to spend time working around a schedule for Sears. The original appointment was also for a repair on my washer. The placement of the bleach dispenser has caused rust inside the washer and on the lid. The technician informed me that, even though the rust is caused by the bleach dispenser placement, rust is not covered under my warranty. I have since contacted Sears and was told that once a technician notates the problem, they will not send anyone else out to look at it. I am in the process of contacting the Warranty Center to dispute their refusal to cover the problem. When KMart and Sears merged, Sears was lowered to the KMart level of service and value. Soooo sad. And the wonder why they are in trouble.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with Sears. I was canceled 1 1/2 hours into the scheduled appointment. Than I had to wait another week before they can come out, mind you I had to make arrangements to be at the 1st appt. Then my next appt, they schedule me 1-5 and the guy shows up at 8am without any notice and calls saying he is leaving after waiting for 10 minutes and he did not ring the door bell. I drive home to meet the guy and suddenly they don't have supervisors, when I ask for the sups number. Worst service! Horrible scheduling system.

Always so professional and prompt. Thank you Sears for the peace of mind ;) I would trust any one else with our appliances.
