My friend has Lincare equiptment and needs to me back on line to assist in her breathing issues...Contacted 2 offices and not even a return phone call as promised....A person's life depends on Oxygen and This problem needs to be rectified....
Very disappointed and upset with this Company and recommend those reading this use another company for your medical supply needs; After two weeks of waiting for a knee walker, I was informed by Bakersfield APRIA representative that APRIA no longer accepts Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield or TRICARE. This is abysmal. After being told initially one week ago to have my doctor refax a prescription for the walker because the initial fax order was lost, I called to followup on the order. Now after two weeks I've been informed APRIA no longer accepts Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield or TRICARE. Absolutely wrong!!! IT DEFINITELY APPEARS ON THE SURFACE THIS COMPANY IS ANTI U.S. MILITARY AND ANTI U.S. MILITARY RETIREE SINCE THEY NO LONGER ACCEPT MILITARY RELATED INSURANCE.....I RECOMMEND ALL SERVICE MEMBERS PAST AND PRESENT LODGE COMPLAINTS WITH THIS COMPANY AND TAKE THEIR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
If you can get one of the ladies to serve you it is good service with focus on your issues, and they have a broad if not deep product line. However my experiences with the one man working there have been less than exceptional. He makes you feel like you're wasting his time and he wants to move on to more important business. They have the products, they're close by, but wait for one of the ladies.
This is the worst oxygen provider no wonder Medicare advantage plan uses them. I was with Lincare for eight years, but do to my budget restraints I can. O longer pay for supplemental insurance so had to go with the UHC Medicare advantage plan for Kern county. I did my part Jan. 6 2016 and notified them I had to use Apria, they kindly faxed over the paperwork, not once three times and still this this day Feb 20, they claim they never received it. I am on hold again with UHC trying to resolve my issues. They are giving me the royal run around now they tell me to call Rotech for oxygen.
I agree, you DO NOT want to deal with this company if you value your health and life. Because they sure as HELL DON'T CARE! When you first speak with them, they come off as concerned caring people that will be there for you to take care of your needs 24/7. DON'T BE FOOLED(CONNED). Because it's all an elaborate intentional fasade. Getting your doctor's involved and others in the medical field DOES NOT help. I thought it was odd that they insisted on me giving them my credit card information when my insurance covered 100% of the cost and they knew that it was covered. At this time I'm not going to go into anymore detail for legal reasons. From start to finish my experience with Apria has been terrible. The location of their office is in a bad part of town a block from Union Ave. but the company refuses to have adequate signs to mark their building. I had to walk the street literally to find their office and was approached by a homeless man. The respiratory therapist acknowledged that people daily miss their appointments not able to find the office. The Apria Corporation refuse to pay for a sign.I emailed the corporate office to offer a complaint and there was no response. The respiratory therapist lied to me stating it would be against medical advise if I returned my machine to them as I was no using the CPAP machine. I paid the fee for medical supplies and I am I being harassed by a collections agency for payment. When I called APRIA billing they acknowledged my bill had been paid but refused to contact the collections to notify them again that my bill had been paid.If your insurance company refers you to APRIA ask them for a local DME company do not use APRIA. RUN do not walk to a different DME Company and tell your insurance company about this post you read here at YP.
Recently, they changed their policies. Now, my handicapped daughter cannot get a wheelchair that is fully paid for by my insurance, unless my daughter has a credit card. Plus, they want her to get downtown and pick it up. She has no wheelchair to get downtown. She is handicapped and has no credit card. I called to have them remove all Apria equipment from my house, and am having all the other patients return theirs. We would rather die than use their services.
I love the staff in this location and the fact they are very knowledgeable about cpap machine/ How Lori and John take time out to explain things in great detail. i recommend this place over any other place. Thank you for helping me sleep better!
